I think banning air will be the best way to go, at least we can shoot skitters if you stop microing them. This game mode is pretty much a race between the 8 killing the commanders and the 2 getting to T2, if you get there you should be able to win, before that is the only real chance of the 8 winning.
Saw this the other week on kick starter looks interesting. Really want to see some more of its game play.
NA basically looks like a much more complex, much larger MMO version of SINS, which makes sense because the guy who created the SINS graphics did the graphics for NA.
Hey Zaphod. Here's a question for ya I recently had an FFA where I had two spawns - - I had epic metal spots galore, and I had not epic metal spots galore. I went for not epic metal spots galore. I figured that if I went for metal spots galore, 3 players would decide I was a threat. The other spawn had less metal and less expansion, which meant that other players would be further away and harassment would not really occur. By the time I expanded to epic metal spots galore, my expanding doxen/fabbers scraped very little opposing mexes off the surface, and they were totally undefended. What would you have done with those spawns?
I'm guessing this is 4P FFA. If there were other planets it's feasible to rush t2 + orbital and just leave the planet leaving the players to fight while you lay low and move to asteroid smash or nuke spam. I would probably have been greedy and gone for the most mex, with lots of scouting, extra pelter defences and a few extra factories to defend against potential of being attacked. Generally in FFAs people tend to use their starting mex, never expand and gracefully wait for you to steamroller them.
And after repeatedly wondering for weeks why the video length indicator doesn't match the video lenght, I just now realized that's no length indicator at all. It's your playtime mod. *facepalm*
Something I noticed in @zaphodx latest video: vs I prefer the shorter second one. Edit: Damn it, totally posted in the wrong thread...
