have you played a trial and got a free picture? if you have spread the word!! I got 1 from duke nukem and quake.
Most, if not all, Xbla game trials have at least of free award. Some give gamerpics and some give avatar awards/props. For example if you play the trial of Toy Soldiers you'll unlock a free gas mask for your avatar.
I played the trial but never got the mask do you have to play it till the trial runs out? I got bored after about 10mins
I was pretty sure that you never got to keep what ever the trials said you unlocked...At least, I don't recall any game(even MNC) that lets you keep any gamerpic or avatar crap you unlock without owning it.
[rant]...Free stuff is lovely, but why would someone want a Bing shirt? I think it's a bad idea. Microsoft is already trying to shove all their products down our throats in ridiculously bad ways as it is, so should we really be saying we don't mind their bad practices by further advertising it? :| I mean, look at how the 360's dashboard is compared to how it was before. The "blade" interface worked just fine, but then they decided to rebrand it...With Zune of all things. Now the dashboard is much less efficient, the video library system is just retarded, and the last rebranding that came with Kinect makes all those horrible Zune-style menus blinding should you dare use your console at night. toy soldiers does NOT give you free anything. it clearly states that you need to unlock the full game to keep your avatar item.
