    I'd say it wasn't a bad idea they were just waaaay overselling it. And I think when they realized people were hating on the DRM, if they found out that family share wasn't really "unlimited",they decided to cut their losses. They purposely kept the system rather vague and undefined. We were never really told how family share would ACTUALLY work.

    Though even if it was that lame, I do see some good in it, so they should bring it back but call it family demo or something sensible. Perhaps cut the family part entirely and just put these demos on Xbox Live in the first place.

    EDIT: I didn't provide further sourcing as it was rather a mess last night but this explains a little more about the backstory here.

    EDIT2(days later, 6/22/2013): Microsoft people say it wasn't a time limited demo. This doesn't really prove much (as there could've been other limits but take what you will from it, system is still gone)
