Wow, a critical shot assault really works

    Lets see..

    If you control for ALL other factors, and have equally skilled players, an AR 3 endorse assault will be beaten by an armored 2 AR endorse, assuming they start firing at the same time.

    Too many factors means this battle will rarely come to complete fruitioin exactly like that.

    Allies assisting, turrets assisting, grenade launcher use, bomb, charge, enemy bots, lack of the "to the DEATH" mentality, overhealing, support actively healing.

    I've been using RoF, Accuracy, Clip size and keeping the Grenade launcher out for grappling assassins when my charge is on cooldown and spamming at enemy bots at range. When I see pros I'll switch to AR and pepper them from range, just to keep them from closing the distance. Unfortunately, I'm not that good with Assault so this doesn't work so well for me.

    This is a lie. Armor 3 + RoF 2 will always beat RoF 3 + Armor 2 in a straight fight. This is because the difference in time between unloading a clip with RoF 3 versus RoF 2 is less then a millisecond. For the grenade launcher the difference is exactly one second.

    Crits are entirely random. Why would you ever want to build a class over something you have no control over, that can often determine the outcome of a fight? It turns every engagement into a gamble.

    Charge 3 is bad because:
    a) It leaves you vulnerable for too long and becomes very hazardous if your enemy is near any bots, as they often will be.
    b) You do no damage to jumping opponents.
    c) It limits your ability to escape (one of the Assault's best aspects) if any sort of enemy or bot is in your way.
    d) You can't hit more than one enemy with it.
    e) All these disadvantages cost $400.

    If you are on a team that is getting Juice rushed, is it worth it to upgrade to Charge 3 for the added CC? Or would you still leave at at level 2?

    I ask because I frequently upgrade it to lvl 3 to be able to more effectively ring out juicers if my team is having a hard time...

    If we are winning I leave it at lvl 2.

    Gold Critical Gunner with deploy level 2 works best.
