    Sort off. While the GW worked the last time I tried, the hack ended up crashing any non-GW game. Additionally the extra unit we added in will probably not work in the GW:

    Right now that is the case, as you can see here, there are certainly plans for it, but there are some issues with us figuring out the animation stuff, we only JUST figured out a process to get models in game, the Animation stuff is gonna take some time to figure out but we might be able to "cheat it" and just not have new bots walk around quite yet. Then there is also the issue that for the Balance mod specifically we are trying to only add things that are strictly absolutely needed, add-on mods in the future will contain a lot of new units as well.

    On the other hand, excluding fabricators, bots have 8 unit types and vehicles have 7 unit types (including the 2 we added).

    Also bots are harder to make and think up.

    Cougars are a bit OP. Spamming them overrides all other units.

    Also, spamming them lags the game out. I think their projectiles are high res or something

    In terms of thinking of bot ideas...I guess I would think of them as infantry units in other RTSs. We already have snipers, soldiers, and rocket launchers. Suicide guys, grenadiers, heavy troopers, etc. So what else could there be? A return of AA infantry? I think stealth infantry would be interesting,. Shotguns? Mortars? Riot shields? Flamethrowers (already done?) What about a ferocious animal raider-type Predator Bot? Also bots need a rebalance (in base game anyway) so that opportunity could open up some fundamental possibilities in terms of swarm tactics.

    Feedback is fine. It's just a little more useful if you tell us why they are OP, rather than just stating that all other units are over-ridden. What units did you try? Did you literally try all the other units? How do they override an SXX? I'm not suggesting that as a counter BTW, I just have trouble visualising how that unit has it's very existence invalidated by a Gatling tank. As myself, Knight, Nano and Liquius found they were very effectively countered by numerous things, including basic tanks, snipers, turbolasers, a hilarious holkins shot which decimated an entire army and levellers to name but a few things. We need a bit more information before we do something with them (although I'm sure they will get tweaked in some way before too long). Levers I would consider tweaking for this are a damage nerf or a cost increase if necessary.

    I don't think it's high res. I think its just that they fire a lot of rounds. Can you identify if it is network lag, client lag or server tick rate lag?

    They beat ants, infernos, booms levelers, shellers, are on par or better than dox and grenadiers, wreck planes in general, they beat snipers, and they beat bluehawks. Not sure about the other units. It just seems that they move too fast, and have to much range for how cheap they are.
