    say, two of your space ships shooting at each other, how long do they take to kill each other?

    20 seconds?

    a minute or so?

    Longer possibly?

    Depends on the ship, but in general, max say 30 seconds unless you're somehow managing to dodge stuff.

    It's about the same speed as vanilla.

    I personally love halo style ships. All my Excalibur models so far were based off the halo style ships. For this model emraldis suggested that I look at the unit canon, so I decided to integrate that design into the front of model.

    You should get your hands on it soon if everything goes well. I had a private team game with the mod today and am really impressed with how it's developed. (I haven't played many of our recent test builds till today)

    I would say that the space combat is slower than with most of the other units in the game. The health on the cruisers is very high. The main thing the speeds up the battles right now is the Excalibur because it's damage per shot is quite high.

    GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!

    Our ALPHA version is now on PAMM with a corresponding UI mod as well! We encourage you to take this mod's balance, and break it! Find the most overpowered strategy and complain! Rage about things being OP! Give us every little detail of our unbalanced game! Tell us why things are bad and what you think we should do to fix it! This mod is really unbalanced right now, so we need your help setting it straight! Also! Keep an eye out for more features to come!

    Alpha Build Notes
    Changes to Vanilla units

    SXX
    Damage and splash radius buffed significantly.

    Only does a small amount of damage against commanders




    Avenger
    Now a cheap, fast fighter that acts more like an aircraft. Low health and damage, but can be deadly in swarms if no AOE weapons are present.

    Advanced Radar
    Now a stationary structure.

    Anchor
    Only shoots at orbital units.

    Cost decreased, Damage increased.


    Orbital Fabrication Bot
    Cost decreased, health increased.


    Catapult and Tactical Missile Bot can fire at orbital units.

    (advanced bomber can NOT fire at orbital units)


    New Mobile Units

    Hammerhead
    Anti Fighter Front Line Unit.

    A front line cruiser with a high amount of health, capable of clearing out masses of avengers with its AOE. However, it’s direct damage is relatively low.


    Excalibur
    Long Range Fire Support

    Fire support cruiser equipped with a high damage long range laser cannon. Ideal for dealing damage to orbital units and structures. It’s low health makes it vulnerable to avengers.


    Hailfire
    Ground Attack Missile Barge

    Orbital bombardment cruiser capable of attacking tanks, aircraft, and bases with guided missile attacks. It can not fire on other orbital units, so it must be protected.


    New Orbital Structures

    Sentinel
    Stationary laser platform

    High rate of fire laser, capable of destroying large armies of tanks and bots.


    Guardian
    Stationary AA missile satellite

    Missile platform designed to clear an area of fighters and bombers.

    SXX was changed to doing less damage with a high ROF and had to be manually targetted, btw
