[WIP][Server] Orbital Warfare Overhaul

    That's the intent! Once we get that hailfire in the game, and establish a rudimentary balance, we can release an alpha version, and start getting into the REAL balance of things...

    The hailfire is in game now actually. I did the model really quickly though by modifying the old hammerhead model. So it will need to be replaced by something better. I just wanted something to balance with.

    After doing some reading from page 6 to now, it seems that my dream of having an Ion Cannon in PA might become true after all. This makes me very happy indeed :D

    Looking good. Happy with the way it looks ingame. Here's hoping that after the textures are done I won't feel as if I have to remodel it again.

    Yea, I need do the gradients and the vent details. That might be beyond the scope of my abilities right now though.

    Been reading through your thread since last night. Love the ideas/work your posting. Just curious if y'all are interested in an orbital teleporter or if you've tried making one? Saw you were planning to add one to your carrier. I'm wanting an orbital teleporter myself, but was having trouble due to the bottom piece that the rings stand on.

    We were actually talking about implementing an orbital teleporter into the mod. Not 100% sure if we'll go through with the idea though until we've tested if it's balanced. After I finish the model for the Hailfire orbital ship I'll most likely attempt to create a model for an orbital teleporter.

    How fast is the mods combat going to be? (totes not a bump)

    It is litrerally vanilla with new units. Orbital combat is different, hard to say if it's faster or slower.
