What about giving everything 1 health? As long as the planet is big enough, there won't be any commander rushes. Walls do little but block a single shot (which means quite a bit, considering that's one extra enemy unit that won't kill your defensive structures), and normal structures block two (blocking the shot and wreckage also blocking the shot) Alternatively, everything has normal health, but wreckage has precisely two billion health. Excellent for metal farming, but requires a ton of energy to maintain, which metal extractors could provide without. It'll also create a junkyard-like terrain, where there are a ton of broken units scattered around the battlefield, blocking paths and creating cover. Or both!
Where exactly do you put the server mods for PTE on your computer? do you just put them in the mods folder or what?
Sort of. You put them next to your mods folder in a new folder called server_mods. See also chargrove's post. By the way, the old mods folder for client mods will be renamed to client_mods.
all mods are both PTE and Stable. corang just made a PTE version of BBB because his didn't work in PTE. i know this causes confusion but the bottom line is all mods apply to both.

Thanks! I still think that increasing range and inaccuracy and decreasing rate of fire is a better solution to the paper unit problem.
