Will it require epic Korean-level micromanagement to win?

I love RTS games, but I never play them in multiplayer settings because you have to click 3 times a second to win.

Will this be another game like that?

I hope not. This is why I'll never get SC2, it's just not fun (not that I can get it but heh just saying)

If this game gets funded and sticks with the "macro" scale, it better has some incredible UI and comfort because dumb units and insane drop/transport mechanics, like the ones in SupCom, are pretty annoying if you have to manage a grand battle on many places at once.

It has to behave really smoothly or you will sit there baby sitting every unit on the field watching that it does what you want it to do and not run into the next best rock, get stuck on something else or has a 5 second respond time to an order.

unless its like a 6v6 and there are multiple commanders who can each look over a part of the battle and the resources are divided based on performance or something.

when you say SC2 do you mean starcraft 2 or sup Com 2?

I hope it takes the supcom 1 method of micro... you can if you want, and it will help some.. but Macro is FAR more important!

to manage a huge battle across multiple planets you just have to be quick, which should include giving many commands as fast as possible. Be quick about building up your stuff, not about telling a single unit to move and stop dozens of times within a few seconds.

that would be optimal, just make it like it was in TA and SupCom
