Why the Sniper doesn't work in MNC (PC)

We used to have one of those in Japan. I loved that thing.

We had one in the EU as well but I can't find it anymore. Tank and Support are not too bad with >100 ms ping. Playing without Snipers is so relaxing, especially as Support.

Agree. I play here all the time. And I'm pretty certain it's a US east coast server. My UK buddies ping okay there (a tad over 100).

truly, this is an amazing server.

It feels way more balanced without a click - you are dead option. It lets everyone run around and try to kill each other without worrying (too much) about being in the open.

Carry on with these, if were lucky they'll remove Snipey Snipe and think It was all a bad dream.

I don't think they should completely remove him, just patch him really well. So he's like worthless. :twisted:

I wonder what an alternative to the snipers role would be. I mean he is a player killer that has great bot killing potential with low turret killing power.

I mean how do you re-implement this?

I meant literally Mario-themed
Has to jump onto the heads of bots/pros, throws fireballs and turtle shells
Skills could be a raccoon tail to swat things away, a cape to slice stuff and a hammer to smash with

Tho I suppose he could look like Supports overly tall brother

I'm not a competitive player, I play to have fun. I'm not having fun if I have to scan the map for 2 Snipers constantly. And it would appear I'm not alone with that sentiment.

I think If you landed on a bot from a jump pad it should destroy them, not Pro's though because of the traffics jams on jump pads that we already have.

Another match on Grenade with 2 Snipers on the other team. Was about as much fun as pulling a tooth. We need a EU no Sniper server!

No sniper server are for people with anger issues, and babies.

And there are only a handful of snipers that actually pose a challenge as a heavy so I don't see the problem (if you main a medium or light class and you complain you are just bad).

Grenade is really a terrible map considering how easy it is to snipe enemies anywhere on it. Other maps pose much less of a problem, but Steel Peel is also pretty bad. At least the inner enclosure provides a fair bit of protection though, compared to Grenade.
