Just to track the progress and see if I find bugs that arent already reported.
Before beta I played for fun too but recent versions are, to me, not something I really enjoy playing.

Edit: Warzone 2100 was very cool, nice to see some still remember it ;)

KKnD 2 was worth it simply for the mission briefings.

I love RTS and TA/C&C WERE AMONG the best and these guys worked on that. Every rts player dreamed of interplanetary war!

Because as Rock, Paper, Shotgun phrased it "the target experience will be slick as all hell."

Also because I was a bit disappointed by some other games.
The competitive aspect is what usually keeps me interested in a game.

Because I love big scale macro RTS! Plus it's always fun to see a game go through the dev cycle and be able to contribute my thoughts and comments.

Because what else is there to do?

Also, it's the best game since TA, and that's saying something. Initially I had my doubts but to my great joy uber proved them wrong. Fantastic work guys.

I like RTS games that encourage multi-front battles rather than single-battle micromanagement. Total Annihilation, SupCom to some extent and Battle for Middle Earth 2 are pretty much the only examples I can think of. So far it looks like PA will be the next big entry for this style of fighting.

I really don't like the unit micromanagement RTS games, e.g., Blizzard.

    I would like to say:
Because of the EPIC ECO, EPIC battle, EPIC Nukes, EPIC strats, EPIC wins and loses, EPIC air snipes, EPIC Fleets, EPIC armies, EPIC...
    but unfortunately I don't have the game(yet).

WAIT I mean not EPIC, AWESOME:

he mean, A RTS that you need to Macro to win, not a RTS(that is a RTT) that you need to micro only.

You now that PA can be a decent game to play, but it will be always behind FA has a similar game.
I hope PA can have some fun gameplay but ,for what i feel no way will give us the same epic battles has we are ust in FA(F),
PA was not think to that.

All the clean awsome flat map, the great ui ,the options off all factions.

All that fantastic and unik upgrades that FA commanders got,the unbelible micro managing and resources we got there t1-t2-t3-t4.
The fantastic upgrade mexes, the upgrade factories, the fantastic adjency, the asf that we so mutch love.
All T1-t2-t3-t4 units and stuctures we got there.

There are so many things on FA(F) that its so easy to love, that PA cant match it.

But PA its a diferent game and i hope will be fun too.

Do you think PA will give us all this fun,we that play TA SCFA moore then 10 years?

Because RTS is awesome and this is an awesome RTS

Company Of Heroes pretty much every C&C, Rise Of Nation's/Legend's, Harts of Iron II Doomsday Armageddon, LOTR Battle For Middle Earth 2, the Total War Series. These are my favorite games as well as a few RPG's and FPS's

I get the feeling PA will see all of these games end up in a folder instead of my taskbar or desktop, I mean its still in beta and I haven't really touched any of them since I signed up

Basicly, see in a micro style RTS you're playing on a small scale and have hero units and such, but macro RTS games (like PA) are played on a huge scale and as a result you have to focus on strategy.

It is a good game, with the potential to be a great game, and I enjoy playing it. It is fun! Extremely glad that I backed it. The RTS genre at the time was missing this particular flavour of RTS.

there isn´t and won´t be for a long time any game like it that´s why
... tell me any other rts game that lets you battle on the surface of multible planets withan army of a broad variety of units and buildings at once, be able to go into space for invasions and even drop doomsdayasteroids on other planets ... all in realtime ...
