I know spinach isnt the most tasty thing in the world, and personally I don't really eat it (I'd much rather eat other stuff), but it's positive health attributes are non-deniable and you're not allowed to fake nutrition facts/labels as it's illegal.

Anyway you do know there are actually a lot of people who enjoy the taste of spinach? (Such as my brother)

I'm pretty sure the ultimate goal of every section of food industry is to sell their product. So i won't be surprised if there's a Spinach lobby.

This is a total derail from dinosaurs, but if you're interested, there was a bill submitted to US Congress for Spinach Research and Recovery. It looks like this was due to the e-coli outbreak from spinach in 2006. They wanted their money back for spinach losses.
There's totally gotta be a spinach lobby.....
