The last message about a release on friday from garat was ~1pm PDT,
the same time as the livestreams. Maybe we will get more information
in a few hours?

I'm betting for the End of the Week.... maybe...

I can see garat online. Maybe he is up to something.

End of the week is official alpha steam launch.

I checked his online status, too But I think he is often looking - and laughing - at/about this topics :mrgreen:

Besides, garat is online every day. I wouldn't use his online status as a dowsing rod for statements.

Uber needs some pretesting before the beginning of the official alpha steam launch. I think the first users (maybe 200$+ or 1k$+ or kickstarter .. ?) will get access today or by no later than the day after tomorrow.

There are still 4 days before the 7th.

It was a message from neutrino and it was 17:00 local Uber time. 2am in the night for us in germany :S Maybe I should just go to sleep.

We will get it when they consider it stable enough for us to break.... and break it will (repeatily). But out of breakage, comes fixes/patch/interesting side effects.....

Honestly I work in the software development industry, and it must be so difficult for them to show at this stage of (functioning). I know how I get when finished products get shown to someone else, and they find all the small things you forget/didnt think about.

This must be so much worse..........

But just think! This will iron out so many wrinkles before release! I am sure everyone has heard of all of those bugs and problems of major games when they release even after beta testing. Hopefully this will mean a nearly flawless product in the end, very refined. Fire refines but it burns, the process will be painful.

Release alpha before zee-Germans get here. Great movie (Snatch for anyone who doesn't know, warning, lots of violence and language).

Couldn't resist mate. Anyway, I'm in Australia, so my steam alpha release is DUN DUN DAHH Saturday. Hoping for some early access, but I can live with it being on Saturday (it is a long weekend after all, god save the King who's birthday we celebrate even though he has been dead for some time)

I'm not worried about when my Alpha details are sent out. I've got a lot of other things to play right now, and more stuff coming soon (Including the Borderlands 2 DLC "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep" )

so question we can download it from https://store.uberent.com/Account/MyAccount right instead of our email if so that be better than looking through spam which half of us delete anyways
