It is easily possible for Uber to have a simple watermark over the interface. It's alpha its not meant to be enjoyable and playable by millions, its meant to be tested. I will have a testing series on my channel, I will test and record every feature that the game will have. Visually testing the game is the best method and it will help Uber realize where are errors and mistakes faster than a written bug report. I will also encourage everyone to post comments and give their input on the features, the more people help out the better the feedback will be.(minus the trolls) I intend to help develop this game as much as possible, I have been waiting for a SupCom FA sequel for a long time. SupCom2 was a massive disappointment and since we all have a chance of helping build this game, I think we all should do our best as long as humanly possible!
I also intend to be uploading PA alpha videos, assuming that we are allowed to. It should hopefully be enough to get my Youtube account some traction. A watermark in the corner, like the ARMA 3 alpha watermark, should be enough. If you really want to show that is alpha, put the watermark in the middle of the screen, make it the same size as the screen and put the [marquee] and [blink] effects on it
Since the last stream, we're know there will be a replay function in the game client. With that, isn't a gameplay video needed at all. You can make a quick report and say them what kind of bug at this time appeared and Uber can use the replay data to find the bug very fast.
NOT THE SAME THING!! Pls don't murder my reasons like this Not every problem will be directly in the battles though
Sry, that was not my intention to murder your reason. And you're right, not every problem can be find and solved by that. Because of the different hardware in the computers. For example: Computer 1 have a bug but computer 2 can't reproduce it.
I don't see the problem with Alpha or BETA Videos Bugs can be humorous and entertaining. Like this one from the Arma 3 Alpha As long as people know it's from the pre-release they know it's going to be fixed or at least addressed. I have many friends and community members who missed the kickstarter or do not have enough money to purchase alpha / beta access. Livestreaming and Video recording alpha footage will keep their interest up until it's released.
