What type of tournaments are you looking for? Part 2

Ummm. When the game came out I picked it up late and all of the competitive tryhards had already formed teams, and since I didn't want to play as much as they did I teamed with Himi and Nexy, the rest of the team was just Himi's friends and Nexy's girlfriend.

Moral of the story.. Play with people, find people you like, say.. hey.. wanna team and stuff? It's all for fun anyway, even when the game was still new and really hyped there were only a few teams with mega-tryhards.

This'll be a new experience for me, why not. I shall join your team if need be stretch. I've never done an official tourney and would like to try this as long as it doesn't dominate my schedule.

I am kind of split on this too.
On one hand, playing a random tourney sounds like it would be fun.

On the other, I am not sure I would be able to find a team. I am xbl friends with a few of the regular posters on this forum but we usually just party up for the $hits and giggles of it, not any real idea of going into every game to tryhard.

Ether way, I am in favor of "getting a team" because it would be a chance to see how your friends fare over another group of friends.

The hardcore one is fine. I can't imagine finding/making a team would be hard. Hell, one guy posted his concern about finding a team and another person said he'd make one with him already. Imagine if there were lots and lots of threads of "Looking for team for tourney".

And random teams would just piss me off. I'd get the random team full of... randoms.

I dunno, part of the fun in random games for me personally is being the bane of a good team's existence. I've single handedly taken out teams of 3 or 4 99s, and for me, that's where I have the most fun.

I'll admit it openly: I do not play with a team nor do I regularly play with anyone. There's a different sort of fun in playing by myself with 11 other people I've never seen before.

random teams can be fun as long as we can control who signs up - such as the loyal fanbase (ie: people in the forums) if not then I say go into the hardcore side and make fixed teams.

Lol. My vote just cast an even 50-50. Nice.

I gotta lean with the organized team option. Isn't that the point of a tournament anyway? The way I see it, the "hardcore" option is more of a tournament, whereas a "random" option is just plain ol' Crossfire.
