When we played our private matches on Saturday night, we had everyone back out after each one, then had Lief reinvite so we would get random teams. It worked well, and was very fun.

I'm not going to lie, when I saw your name as the next response after Midget, I was prepared to facepalm.

so, here we go.

i have to say, i understand the whole "play with your friends" thing, its fun and stuff. but the spawn killing is way over the line i think. i never step foot inside the spawn ring unless i am killing a camping sniper, hitting the ball, or i accidentally find myself up there. i was in a game today in which i saw 2 supports leave the spawn together, and didnt even have a chance to think about what to do before an assassin juiced and killed them both. i really think it needs to be toned back a little bit.

i personally would like to try to fight back and fail than not even get a chance to fight back at all. no offense to you guys, but that doesnt really say anything good about the community that in a shooter not based on kills, that the new guys cant even get out of the spawn room without instantly dying? i would NEVER have gotten into this game if that had happened to me, and i would put money on the fact that the same goes for any of you.

the melee kill tournament doesnt actually bring anyone together, its just something you and your friends do for fun, MAYBE a few other forum guys,but that doesnt even partly make up for the portion of the community that you scare away by demolishing them using cheap tactics. for god sakes, in the match i was in, there was ice on each door, an assassin next to the front door, and a gunner on top of it.

NOBODY on the other team is having fun, which just pushes them towards reach and CoD. I will wholeheartedly admit i will NOT stay around for even the slightest bit of spawn killing. i dont have any problems with the sniper with ice traps blocking the jump pad in steel peel, and the assault in the back door, because at least you can have a decent amount of fun having a battle against them, but when i dont even have a chance, its just too much.

i have taken up playing fable 2 again, after ~300 hours into it, just because i get so frustrated with some people that do that crap. i have actually considdered leaving this game and finding something else to do because of the obsession with killing that plagues it. i cant count how many times i have lost a game in a pub, even though my team has the superior k/d ratio.

on the other side of that, i have seen my moneyball shields go UP again after we got trapped in because all the other team cared about was spawnkilling. its weird, no, a little sickening that for as much as everyone here preaches about k/ds not being worth anything(aside from deadeye, but his opinion doesnt mean much to me), there is an unofficial clan here of about 10-15 people that all they do is spawn kill, and admittedly do not touch the ball. i got so frustrated with this in my match WITH you guys that i went out of my way to take the ball down.

i get that you want to play with your friends, and i get that your friends happen to be coincidentally good, but spawn killing is too far. can i ask that of you guys at least? can we see an ending to the spawn killing?

Ok Tom you can't blame Spawn Killing on 10-15 people. We can't be in every game, not that they spawn kill or anything, but that doesn't matter.

People are selfish what can you say. They pay with THEIR money to play the game the way THEY want to.

I will agree Spawn Killing is annoying. I am like you I don't spawn kill but we all can't be, whatever that word is that means people won't do it because they know it's wrong.
