What I think makes Gunner unbalanced

yep.. we clearly need a better mechanic for how the moneyball stays down

No. If your ball goes down, that's your fault, Bots are extremely easy to kill, so you can, you know, kill them.

Seriously though. Why can you shotty pros in 1-3 shots and a blackjack takes 4+

Modifiers.

modifiers are the how, not the why

"Why can't I kill [whatever] in x amount of shots?".
"Because your damage is being reduced due to modifiers.".

Makes sense.

Here's a little story... The day Uber launched the Spunky Cola DLC for XBox a few of us were lucky enough to play it with the Devs. My first match I walk out the spawn and am immediately bombarded with Mortar rounds. I yell "Wtf Mortars already!" Then I hear Scathis say "It's nice to be developers of the game sometimes."

Hope that sheds some light on that one.
Btw you can hit the Moneyball with the Gunner's Mortars on all map except maybe Uncle Tully's, I haven't really played it yet.

Also during that match I got a melee kill on Scathis while he was deployed as a Tank...i was a Tank as well. :twisted:

Personally, I prefer to stick them with bombs while everyone is airborn.

And then just stick them over and over again.
