What game replaced/would replace SMNC for you?

I tried out Warsow back in the day, was dope but everyone playing was insanely good and I could never get the hang of it. Was fun though. Barely anyone plays now.

SMNC is the only real game I even play lately, aside from sidestepping into Skyrim and BIT.TRIP Core/Runner. Which reminds me, Runner 2 is out soon, so maybe that. But I feel like I'm starting to go off games for a bit, I have a lot going on lately like this deal in Finland, getting my transition started when I get back, University after Summer. And gaming communities are getting on my nerves lately; aside from a close circle of friends, everyone bitches all the time, no matter what game it is.

ah one of the first games I played along with unrial turnament 3 i think? there was one map in space that i just loved too much and counter strike as well, militia all day long.

Oh yeah, I just meant at my skill level which before this game was about as low as you can get in a shooter. I never even played Quake but I still liked watching people like Fatal1ty and Cooller play just because of the shit they could pull off.

I just hate all of those games.

Does Quake still have a large community though?

Ehhhh. QL is kinda active, as in I could get a duel any time of the day in EU. #cpmduel (a irc pickup channel) has about 40 people online at any moment. You could probably get a Free For All or Clan Arena (aka Quake equivalent to Turbo) at any time too in QL. The problem is that, unless you pay, you're constricted to playing in pubs and playing a fairly limited map pool. Been busy with other games, RPG's mostly.
There's time for a odd game of SMNC every no and then, there's just so much else to play. Dead Space 3 is next, despite PC version being a console port.

And by that, I mean something that'll make me play through multiple times.

No game exists like that for me just based on the story, same with movies.

Skyrim is boring as **** after you complete it once.

I completed Skyrim on Xbox so the PC version is just to derp with mods. I'm trying to go through right now as survival-mode-ish as possible

Nothing can do that for me by the story, but I enjoyed games like Dishonored and Sh*tman: Abs Solution which have great stories. I think the Fallout games have decent replay value. Not 1 and 2, hated those.
