Belzebong - Sonic Scapes & Weedy Grooves
"Huge wheezing stoner riffs, lumbering swamp-man style drums and enough hazy weed smoke to hotbox a double decker bus."
"The band drowns themselves in a sea of distortion, fuzz and enough bottom-end to cure the worst case of constipation - in other words this music will make you ****."

So my ole man and I (aka my Dad) got into talking about music. I told him I was really into the Blues lately and so he put me onto some of his blues.

Fats Domino - Blueberry Hill (From "Legends of Rock 'n' Roll").

I am now actually looking for and listening to all other versions of the song. Heck even the King himself did a cover of that song.

OMFG I have no clue how it's possible but that "cover" just striped all that was emotional and blues right out of that song. That was just bad jbeetle.

Man. I still listen to some bands that I will probably NEER stop being able to listen to, even if I hate myself for it.

i.e, Panic at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, etc.

I like pretty much everything though. Assuming I can get through the first ten seconds, I will probably enjoy it. Metal need not apply, you are never good.

My Dutch friend went to see them live. They took her on stage when they saw her singing along and gave her a t-shirt which was FAR too big for her

Look up Buddy Guy and Junior Wells. They made the best old school Chicago Blues album together.

He's a good guitarist, it's just that most of his music is mushy kissy kissy crap. My dad sometimes listen to his first album, that has a few good song on it.

    As for some blues:
Really old: Skip James, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Blind Willie McTell, Blind Willie Johnson (lol), Son House and Robert Johnson of course.
Old: Junior Wells, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Little Walter and basically everything else from Chicago.
Not old, but not new either: BB King (I saw him live last year, he's gotten old, it was disappointing at best), Freddy King and Albert King
Fat possum records: Junior Kimbrough, RL Burnside and T-Model Ford

That's all I think of atm

Edit: That post looks like spam
