What's the difference between new posts and recent posts?

It auto-parses YouTube links with the [media] tag, you don't even need to surround the link with any BBCode. That's pretty smart

EDIT: on Firefox here, release channel I think. Version 22.0 apparently.

my first impression so far: like the new features, the style not so much

issues with the style:
- current color scheme, too light/colorless or too much contrast to signature and avatar pics, depending on the view (but that's just a taste question)
- the post boxes make for erratic/irregular page layout, in particular with short posts.
(besides the necessary space between boxes, to define them as such, is a waste of space )
- text size too large, I have an easier read with reducing the page display in by browser settings, but then the overall page width get's a bit small.
- if using a fixed width, a bit more would be useful

It is great, but hell, it will take some time to get used to. Well done.
I am glad there is a Trophy and like system, it is all meant to make you better person, just like the post count!

I felt this way too - until I realised that I had been viewing at 125% for the past year or so. I'm happy with my drop back to 100%.

Like the fixed width, makes the entire forum a lot easier on the eyes.

I'm on v23 but no dice. Will have to try at home see if it's something with this work computer.

After realising what the forum was switching to, I knew it was going to be much better. Seems like I was soul-crushingly wrong right!

A suggestion though: on other Xenforo websites, you can put in custom titles under your name. I'm assuming we won't all be called 'new member' forever, but it would also be nice to have the custom option as well.

Custom titles is disabled for now as we are not sure we want to use that, at some point I also removed the whole "New member" thing but I forgot to do so last night. Oh well, we'll see where it goes.

Adobe Flash is EVIL and should be purged!

Liking it so far however I miss when you could click "View new posts" within a sub-forum and get new posts from only that section and not the entire forum as this one does. Also a "stay logged in" feature would be nice.

It's also will be really useful if you add separator between sticky and normal threads.

one thing I am looking for is an equivalent to the whole "ego search" page. it just showed the threads that you posted in and if there is any new posts. any help?

You'll receive alerts for any posts made in threads you've previously posted in, and you can also see all watched threads here: https://forums.uberent.com/watched/threads/all

Here's a workaround:

There's an option here to mark all threads you post in as 'watched'. Enable that then check your watched threads list regularly

Yo Lennard, not sure if you're still fiddling around with the width, but you should be using max-width:990px on .pageWidth as not to destroy the lovely mobile responsiveness.
