    Wow I totally called it. Can't remember who said it, but when someone said "We're working on longer term goals" I said "Oh, prolly means they're working on a new game and scrapping what's left of SMNC." Good times... makes business sense anyways.

    Good luck with funding, you seem to be doing pretty well so far, I'm not an RTS guy but I may check it out for the art alone......... and for the potential of SMNC cross-over items..... ;)

    After reading the PC Mag interview, I think this game is going to be the thing to make me buy a second monitor.... I'll be on the lookout on Black Friday :cool:

    "A Different team" exists amongst 17 people? Seems like they hardly have enough to manage SMNC let alone create an entirely new game.

    Anyways, SMNC killer or not, it looks like a good time. I'll make you guys a deal. You put in new stats and protags and make them visible, I'll back you for $40. Do it next patch and I'll go $50. It can't be that much work to put them in, so that's the challenge.

    To be completely honest, when I heard about that $1000 donator deal with getting your own commander, I really wanted to go make a Pit-Girl-style commander. God dammit I'm poor though

    It's more like someone who played TF2 from launch asking for Half Life 3 for free.

    By the way my offer still stands, $50 for stats and protags today, $40 if you manage to get them before the end of your Kickstarter. It's been over two months and it's a pretty simple request... now there's some incentive. I'll even make a promise to convince other nerds to join in!
