    Forgot to mention - I had to develop this strategy to cope with multiple enemy commanders in Galactic War as Bot Commander. If you don't quickly assassinate one of them, it will be a quick demise, instead of the slow drawn out death that terminates many single-commander battles.

    As I mentioned above, it's a gamble - show up a little too late and your commander is in the enemy hive, caught in the crossfire between towers, tanks, and bombers.

    This is precisely why I thought it'd be a great feature of this game if different planets restricted unit types. Mainly, no water = no ships, no atmosphere = no air. You could allow bots to be more 'all terrain' and essentially restrict vehicles on rough planets.

    This is definitely a mod that should be made.

    The challenge would be to do it against another player. Ideally in a blind test.

    That'd be horrifying.

    That'd be like playing Civilization 5, but you can only use ancient tech units while another human starts in the information era with infinite happiness.

    Your relentless AI built very little and didn't even move away from my Anchor swarm next to his Com. If I hadn't played so defensively I could have beat him in 15min probably.

    Eh, the challenge is to do it to an AI. The balance test you want to suggest for bots is to do a blind test against another player.

    Then again, bots being a support role has worked in C&C games, just by putting them as an earlier prereq level. So make the commander only to build bots and naval, and bots and naval build vehicle and air AS WELL AS t2 bot and vehicle. This technically makes vehicles t2 and t2 vehicles t3 except with the gentle t1 investment cost. What do you think about that thought?

    how much do anchors cost sir? How much range do they cover? How much metal do you need to spend in orbital fighters and fabbers to place them? I don't think this is viable AA

    Let them die... I did it by leaving starting planet asap, defended that as long as I could (whole game actually - thought at the end there wasn't much left), build 5xSXX and killed commie. AI commie didn't even try to leave starting planet, which was a bit strange.

    Not sure was it allowed to use T2 orbital... if not, I need to try it again.

    Challenge Maps are a great idea. It's exactly what I was hoping would be added. Looking forward to these.
