To your point. Zoom seems to have little impact, once the textures are done loading ( after zooming or panning around, i find it takes a second for the textures to get back to 100%). I find that I am not maxing either GPU or CPU, however. Core 8 does look like its getting to roughly 80% but there is still headroom, and it is not like it is pegged at 100%. GPU loads have yet to go above 65%. I have not thought to think about internet connection. To that end I will investigate.
