    Anybody else notice that they didn't really fix the balancing of split parties?
    I have been put on the opposite team of a 6v6 with my buds, and we were in the pregame lobby for at least 30 seconds. So strike 1.

    Strike 2 is the face that host has not migrated once. I dropped maybe i dunno, 7 games today? out of 30. and no host migrated.

    But, i have no 3rd strike :j

    Now that is said, i can get to the more better parts of the patch.

    For one i was very excited to try out if the assassin could speed glitch on the un-patched version of MNC. And it did, then got the patch and tested it out, SUCCESS! no more assassin P@$%YS but, i happened to see that the colors were much more saturated and the quality was great! Big ups to uber for adding that small little detail.

    Everything other than those two "stirkes" above, happened to be fixed with such greatness. Just everybody thank uber for stopping those little speech glichtin' punks.

    Balancing of split parties? We're you in a MNC party and got split up or are you talking about teams having different number of players?

    I just played about 6 games and successfully host migrated four times, including the host leaving during the lobby. If there isn't a valid host with an open NAT when the host leaves, it won't migrate.

    How did every single one of those times the host dropped? I know people rage quit, but not that many times in a row. The most i have seen is 2 games dropped in a row. So "6 games with the host's dropping" is a hoax.

    That's what I'm trying to find out. We're interested in feedback to see how Host Migration works in a live environment because that's the only way to really test it. There is no hoax, we made the Host migrate faster and there are instances as you point out that it can fail. The more info we can get about different situations, the better we can make the gameplay experience for future updates. That's why I'm asking the questions.

    I noticed today, people are still used to quitting right after a match because they don't want to wait for the Lobby or feel its faster to start up a new Quick match. That will change over time.

    Alright, its great to hear that. I love giving feed back, i would check out on some of the gold endorsement hacks, because if your up for it, i have a humongous story i can type out referencing them.

    Recently, as in today.
    So there me and my pals were, just getting into a match, then comes along a gunner, who seems to be doing very well. A little too well. He would bust us up, left and right, up and down, you name it. At one point, he was unjuiced, no one had bacon that game, and he took out 4 people. One being an assassin who sliced the gunner at least twice then got slammed. another being a support who shot at him but missed and got picked off. Another gunner, who unloaded at least a full clip into him then got muched up by the minigun, then lonley ol me comes running around the corner, a little sniper and gets plowed in a literal SLPIT SECOND. he did not have to get his guns spinning, all he did was hold the right trigger for 1 second and i was dead. now previously i hit him 3 times, he was definatley, depleted of health, and WOULD NOT DIE. Another instance is when he shot me down with his mortar, and it only took him one shot, i was a sniper, and he was not in juice. And he also at the same time took out a level 2 RockIt turret with only 2 mortar shots. Which i tested out, and did not work, even in juice it took 5 shots to fully destroy a rocket turret.
    So if i see it right, he had Armor 3, Rate of Fire 3, and Critical Shot 3. Seems kinda strange...Also i have about 3 witness'.

    it was like 4 of us in both a MNC AND live party, and midget got split from us. there were at LEAST 10 people there so...
    (popped you in the mouth several times with the tank bomb)

    I wholeheartedly agree. These are my only two problems with the patch. My parties keep getting split up, even when we get into a lobby before a game. I think Host Migration has worked once since I bought the game on launch day. On closer reading of the patch notes, they're simply speeding up Host Migration, which is fine. However, a future fix would be nice in a game with so many rage-quitters

    And to answer Ekanaut, I have only had failed Host migrations. Allthough ive not had to deal with a host quit mid game, these have all been once the game ends. Your looking at the stats and bam, the host migrate screen pops up. After about 30 seconds of waiting (and diiisplaying a message saying host succesfuly migrated :D ) it says unable to migrate hosts and you get booted to front menu.

    I am curious, did the title update address juiced grapples?

    I normally only play Support. When I'm juiced up and I grapple opponents, it does the same damage as a non-juiced grapple (Correct me if I'm wrong). Am I to take it juice does not affect grapples, it does but I don't see it, or is this an oversight?

    I've noticed the dagger lunge does about 50% damage to a Blackjack. I don't really see what the problem is, as I've killed people with a dagger lunge and saw the katana emblem on the kill log. The dagger is smaller, so less damage. It still shreds bots, so the Assassin's still gonna rock the bots.

    What I've noticed from the patch:

    1. Gunner and sniper need a Nerf. Sniper should have increased time between traps.

    2. Support now only has two endorsements, as the gold ROF endorsement will bring him back to his "pre-update" Hurt/Heal damage state. I'd recommend a Gold endorsement doing more damage then it currently does and the silver ROF endorsement as the "pre update" normal damage.

    3. Gunner still seems too strong as there are even less tools to deal with him- especially since support and assassin have been nerfed so bad. Bottom line is it's easier to win with him than any other class.

    4. The game is still broken with juice rushes. (gold juice with support, heal / hurt rush to base, juice attack, buy more juice, juice attack then game over within 2 minutes). I'd recommend raising the cost of juice to 600 as this will mitigate abusing juice rushing.

    I used to love this game, but the update seems to have created more problems- despite fixing a great deal.

    Sniper grapple: thank god, finally
    Ring outs: Yeah, $125 was ridiculous, especially since it largely just depends on your class.
    Tank death blossom damage... increased or decreased? I can understand not giving us specific numbers, but come on.. at least tell us whether it's adjusted up or down!

    The changes I would really like to see are with the Sniper and Support classes. I usually play an Assassin, and the bad grapple detection and the removal of cloaking during an assassination are horrible, and making it impossible to finish an assassination, especially on jackbots, but that has already been covered.

    What kills me is that a good support can outkill almost anything in my experience. The shotgun damage is way too high, and one shot kills from it, from a support character with a firebase that heals them and provides an additional source of damage, is just way too much.

    I like the idea for snipers, but I would like to see them have a MAX of one freeze trap. Reduce the recharge time, but only let them have one trap, PLEASE. The power of the SMG is high, but I am fine with that, the power of the grapple however is a bit too high, imho.

    Lastly, is there any way we could see jumping assassinations? The jetpack classes too often use jet-hops to avoid being susceptible to assassinations.

    PS I agree with the guy about some protags being much more difficult to obtain. It will be a LONG time before I am able to get the last one for sword kills. UGH.

    PPS Oh yeah, and I second the idea of raising the price of juice.

    I honestly think the Sniper is the most balanced of all the classes. Just because he killed you doesn't mean he's OP, it just means the player has been playing to the character's advantages.

    And you can easily counter the sniper's traps, just find an alternate way to get over to him instead of just rushing him, and look at the ground and try jumping on the glass to avoid them. Simple, and if you don't want to get grappled, then don't get to close. Every class has a grapple, tank can ring out with his, gunner's ok but his slam is better, support's grapple can be followed by a shotgun, Assault's charge grapple is pretty good, and Assassin's grapple is good for getting kills.
