Is there any reason at all for ships to include tall bridges apart from familiarity? Technically they wouldn't need to be ergonomic in the sense of needing to be crewed.

It's a somehow technical reason. Because of radar. However I don't know what kind of radar in this future is available.

It might be worth thinking about how combat vehicles in general would look if they were unmanned. This might produce some eye catching designs. Something like the Strv 103 turretless tank for instance. You can also get inspiration from evolutionary design, just look at NASA's evolved antenna, how out of left field is that, and it's more efficient than anything a human could think up.

This turretless tank, isn't such a good example. It's much more precise and faster to aim with a turret than by moving the whole tank. Moreover such a tank can't shoot in one direction, while driving in another.
Evolutionary design is a pretty cool thing. But sadly we can hardly guess what the result of this process in a specific case will be. I don't know what's the optimal design for a railgun and of I knew, I'd rather go to DARPA than posting it here :p

Nevertheless keep sharing your ideas, they might be useful somewhere.

Probably. It's just a example. Looks neat, that's all. On the other hand, the Ratte and Monster would probably fit right in.

I mean it more as art design inspiration: how might this weapon look if it was developed by an algorithm. I guess in general I wish at least some units would look a bit less mundane than what we've seen so far. Like, the most brutally efficient design might not always necessarily be a cross between Red Army and Evil Genius. (Although, in general I like that aesthetic.)
