UI / screen resolution

    Maybe this will help bring down the prices of some current displays?

    Too expensive for now, but I'm sure prices will go down way faster than two years. It's one of the very first 4k monitors, they're asking for a premium. That won't last long, hopefuly :)

    And I'd prefer something like 24"-26".

    it's the pixel density that makes it cost that much

    smaller pixel = greater error rate x area of screen = failure rate / component,

    so it's simply much more expensive to make at the moment + IGZO is more than AS (ingium gallium zinc oxide) (amorphous silicon)

    Speaking of user interface, I read on the forum they are thinking of doing a window-in-window type of thing to help keep track of all the bases. Making a mini-map sized box that shows a view of any part of the map you want without the need for multiple monitors. I wish other rts games had this feature.
