Uh... Performance Drop?

    Would you mind dropping your in-game profile screengrabs here? I'm especially interested in the memory usage screen, but the others help too. I suspect since you only have 512MB video memory the driver is putting a lot of resources in system memory and you are bus-limited. The performance drop may not be related just to the particle effects system, but also due to refactoring with PIP and other features. Anyway, the more info we have, the better :)

    I'll get those grabs later today or tomorrow.

    I haven't even tried using PIP.

    I CANNOT wait until I get my new computer... gonna have 16GB of memory and 2GB of video memory. Gonna be so awesome...

    Hey dinokey, Do you hit printscreen to get your screen caps or do you hit some other button? I hit print screen and it captures both of my screens at the same time.

    i'm new to the game, but even so, i can tell something is wrong.

    i have a beefy system, with 16GB ram, Core I-7 3770K @4.2 GHz, MSI GTX 970 Gaming with 4 GB Vram. and i get memory problems, if i switch to chrome(or any other thing) and windows ask's me to close programs to get more ram.

    i have uploaded all the things requested, please, optimize the game.

    There's a fix for this somewhere....gotta look it up....

    It's not Uber tho - its your system. I have similar spec to yours and I have no problems.

    EDIT: have you tried running PA by itself? Have you checked that your drivers are up to date?

    Can you start a game or is it a problem with planet generation in the lobby?
    Try starting a local game and a multiplayer game.

    As already eloquently stated by @mered4; dat necro.

    Sometimes I get this warm fuzzy feeling in my loins, but it's not the good sort. It's the sort that occurs when someone thinks they know better than Windows devs and disables pagefile.
