No idea what you are talking about. A generic solution to turn a widescreen format into a box format without adding either borders or stretching the whole thing is not really possible I think.
Stretching was what I was basically thinking. meh. This technically does what was requested. Wait a minute, doesn't this also fix the bug where your tech slots in GW start to scroll off the bottom of the screen?
I've never seen that bug but you certainly should be able to zoom out to make them visible again at the cost of a black border.
