UBER love-in

I had my doubts when the kickstarter was rolling out. Like how is a game where you destroy the map you play on going to work? But after seeing alpha, and starting to play in beta, all my doubts are gone.

It's a great idea, a nice revival / homage / whatever to TA, the best game ever made. Now I'm saving up for a new rig to play this magnificent game on after release while keeping my fingers crossed that valve does a good job on steam OS.

Fantastic job from all of you at Uber, you've clearly shown you have what it takes to pull through. In my head you guys are working really hard and are tired but i hope there's time for some hugs and high fives as well. Really great job everyone, I'm very impressed. And I love to be able to watch things unfold, thanks for sharing the progress with us.

Oh Uber you had me at RTS, but also frequent live streams, oh also you look at the forums (a lot), and lot of other stuff like ealy modding support.

I *almost* filed a bug in the bug tracker because the game is just too awesome. Too much awesome makes me geek out incessantly. They should turn down the awesome.

pff, camera being implemented like I asked, the new notification UI which when you click on centers your camera on the event, the engine buffs, the start spot letters and pole letters changed I'd mentioned I thought they weren't pretty, the click and drag feature which just makes this game SOOOOOO much better...
