I agree with you. Isnt there a toggle in sc2 to let your partner control your army. I think it would be cool to have a toggle to control commanders in shared army.

No we're not, and that's not the problem. Similarly to different commanders, it might alleviate the pain, but it's not a solution to the problem, just a case of making the symptoms a bit less bad.

The problem comes when you're moving armies in for an attack. Aside from tactics, strategy, units, my enemy and keeping the next minute or two into account, i don't want to be busy figuring out where my gate goes. It';s a matter of either a PiP showing up of the target gate or some line drawing to the target gate when selected or so.

The problem arises when time is short.
