Twitch Plays Pokemon

Not sure if I like the new democracy mode. On the one hand, the game might actually finish now, on the other, it's way less entertaining now.

They managed to get to the fourth or fifth gym with basically random button mashing.

They ditched it for anarchy again I believe. Democracy mode was dumb as it's like watching a really slow let's play. Seemed to defeat the entire point to me.

Anarchy and Democracy
TwitchPlaysPokemon now has two modes, anarchy and democracy.

Anarchy mode is the "old" mode, where everyone's inputs are applied immediately.

Democracy mode is vote-based and has a more sophisticated input system.

In order to switch from one mode to the other, the mode that isn't active needs 75% of votes as indicated by the dotted line, the current percentage of votes is indicated by the black line.

I have to admit defeat.

They did it.

Some people must have been very invested to manage this...
