So there ARE people who think youtube is a forum.

I only leave Youtube comments on small channels or channels of friends. The PA video has over 2,300 comments so far. Who is going to read that?

There is only one important button for Youtube: Subscribe. If you like the videos and want to see more of them subscribe. Otherwise don't. Likes, dislikes and comments are only to push the channel. Yes, you actually help a channel if you dislike a video or leave a negative comment. If nothing else it creates hype and interest if a couple of thousand people dislike a video.

I love the comments section.
I have to restrain myself from raging anytime someone makes a "lazy art style" comment
