Its like Mean Girls on this forum sometimes.

There is very clearly a clique and they like to remind the board every once in a while that they are cooler than everyone else. It can't be stopped.

Here's to hoping the "cool kids" on the forum wisen up and start doing things to broaden the community on the forums (avoid obviously biased and epeen massaging threads like these) and in game (open private matches, join games outside of being a party to create more even games, etc.).

obi I'm pretty sure this thread was made by...grindout...I'm not so sure he fits into any cliques....so your master theory doesn't really seem to fit at all.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo many of these forum people are annoying to the power of 10. And they must be told. Deadeye had it right. The BEST thing about it is I have NO SKILL to back up any trash talking. I suck at this game and just talk shhhhhh, I feel like Fearless Feedle, except without the mild Down's Syndrome.

I didn't say this thread was created by "The Clique", just said it has been used by the clique to show how awesome they think they are.

I mean the reality is that there are a ton of good players that never get mentioned by the forum regulars (and no, I do not consider myself good enough to be on ANY list).

That's not to take away from the obvious skill OxyTeam and others have, but all their compliments generally stay within their own group. It makes threads like these pointless. But whatevs, its a forum, it really isn't a big deal.

i played this guy who called himself efr0n the other day, very sick bastard! he was a full-heart gunner as he said there were three rounds on a row were he got over 50 kills! id recommend him for your crew, he turned down ours!

I'm hurt. Honestly.

1. The underlined portion of your quoted post is absolutely hilarious, and I truly hope you understand why.

2. As far as MY list, with the exception of the support class, I list at least one, if not SEVERAL people outside of Oxyteam that I think are top players. Hell, for Sniper, I Don't think ANYONE on Oxyteam is a top sniper in the game, and the closest we have is likely Bolt. I'm not going to go back and read everyone's list, but 99% of us all list deadeye as a top/the top gunner, despite extreme levels of animosity some harbor towards him.

Why does everyone think that people will only "vote" for "people who are well liked" on the forums? (Not quoting you on this Obi, but its a pretty similar message none the less.) What incentive do any of these "well liked" people have to offer others in exchange for "votes"? I think Sigmar is a huge tool and have no problem saying he is a talented sniper. I absolutely detested deadeye about 2 months ago, but have zero issue with calling him the best gunner I have ever played against. Unicorn hardly posts here at all anymore, and still regularly makes my list of top snipers, and Patch is much of the same way for anyone who ranked him highly as a support.

I just feel like people are coming out of the wood work to chastise people for not listing Billy Bob from New Zealand for that one time he went 53-0 against a team of Six during dev night, only to never be heard of again. Of course these lists will be inaccurate, REGARDLESS of who we list. Pretty much every comparative list IS inaccurate or debatable. Its a big part of WHY we make lists: the inconsistencies are fun.

If you look over my list for more then 2 seconds you will see many people who are not even on other lists or who are not people within my group that I play with regularly.
Same goes for most of the lists......

also btw, Now that somebody mentioned it.
Officer willy is indeed a good player, I wouldn't rank him as a top or the best.
But I did get to play against him a few times lately and his name sticks out.
