Evaluating someone based on how their TEAM did doesn't really show how good they are, you have to base it on how good they contribute to their team (by playing solo).

But if they do not go in solo you can not accurately determine who is better.

I'm trying to become the WILDCARD so Jack Trips is relegated to being the useless female.

You need your team's support to do your job effectively. That's the difference between pubs and team games. Anyone can go into a pub as an assault, assassin, or sniper and go off. The best players are the best team players. I can still put up as big numbers as any of you, but can you all be on the same level in terms of awareness, callouts, leadership, being consistent, and being "clutch" (don't know what else to call that).

By being effective only with your 'team' certainly does not make you the best at your class, being effective alone is just as important as being effective with a team when it comes to determining whos the best at which class.

If you only do good with your team.. what does that tell you? Obviously you cannot be very good at your class if your only good with YOUR team. You should take both team and solo into account when deciding, not just the team. If it was "which is the best team" then you could just do team.

You misinterpreted my post. Anyone, including myself can do well alone. I'm doing it as we speak. It takes something special to be a great team player.

My case for Billy being the best at every class, save a couple exceptions, is he doesn't need to depend on the team for kills/wins. I never see him playing a defensive game and needing team back up to do well or push on his own. However, on the flip side, he's most likely in a position to back YOU up if you're on his team.

His ability to multitask with all of a class's skills and avoid damage is bar none, except for maybe Deadeye. Billy runs an armorless assault and will regularly go 30-2 even against good competition because he as a preternatural ability to avoid damage. 30-2 may not be impressive to some of you, but he does it ALL THE TIME with EVERY SINGLE CLASS. Many of the "best" are class specialists who know their class inside and out and have the dexterity and skill to do really well, but how many people could maintain a sick K/D while playing any class?

My case for Im Hudson is I've learned more about playing the tank by watching his videos than any other player. I learned nothing about the tank by watching Shammas' railgun tank videos. Hudson strings together skills in a way that corrected some things I was doing wrong and put a vision in my mind of how a tank should run. I can only try to replicate that vision, but I have problems putting it all together. I have to be on all aspects of my game to do really well: situational awareness, discretion when losing a 1v1, twitch, fast to read/react...but guys like Hudson and Billy are "on" all the time and don't have to think about pulling it all together, it's just natural.

My case for Deadeye is he's everyone's consensus pick for gunner. I would love to see videos of him playing to see exactly what he's doing. I can't claw, so most of his game would be impossible for me to even try to duplicate.

I would give a shout out to Xenonox for his assault video I watched that helped me a bit put things together a little bit for my assault game play.

You really should play with me and PU5H more often. I'm playing Hudson's style of tank and going 50-2 every game. I'll go 50-2 as every class, every game, and we'll win, every time. I've never seen anyone else who can play my style of tank or assault though.

Didn't the last thread like this turn into a flame war and get locked?
I hope we have all learned to play nice...

My picks are people that I have personally played with and or against who left an impression that make them stick out in my mind above the rest.

    No particular order.

    Assault
    1. Xeno- Guys good, very good. After playin him for the first time, I picked the assault class back up and have been getting much better.
    2. Teo- Only recently started playing with and against teo but his assaults got game yo'
    3. BillyR- Idk how he does so well with such a TERRIBLE build, but hes def top percent of assaults, one of his better classes.

    Support
    1. Greggy- Unrivaled at chucking airstrikes, so many sticks, so many multikills
    2. BillyR- Imo master of the shotgun And or WeaponX for the same reason, they both just be whylin' out with the shotgun
    3. SxD- When his base goes up, its gonna take a hell of a lot to bring down...a hell of a lot

    Gunner
    1. Deadeye- Easily the best gunner I've played with or against.
    2. Peachy - dunno where hes been, but he was always a beast gunner
    3. Some guy I cant name but I met in a pub a while back, he just floated around the map spinning and spraying death like it was the matrix.

    Sniper
    1. WeaponX- Buddy of mine, but I can say without bias that he is hands down the best overall sniper I've seen. Hes all that, and a bag of chips.
    2. Pohtaytozz- Skillz to the gillzz
    3. Sigmar- Although he plays like a behatted coward, hes extremely annoying to play against, so he sticks out.

    Tank
    1. I'm hudson- Well, hes hudson. Awesome tank, even more awesome team player.
Right when your about to die or lose a kill he just appears with his hax and mods and shoots 15 heat seeking stickers. Thnx hudson.
    2. Im hudson- Ya, I'm giving him two spots. Srsly, I hate playing sin against him.
If were split, I normally just run assault to spite him.
    3. idk who to put here as I don't often see many "THEBEST" tanks, maybe shammas? I haven't played him but I can tell hes good from his vids.

    Assassin
    1. Rev- He is the melee king and I bow down before all his flipkick glory. Great guy, great assassin.
    2. Lief- How can an AZAZN list be complete without lief?
    3. Mano- Somebody I can consider my equal when it comes to the sin. MANO WHY DID YOU LEAVE MEEEEE, WHYYYYY???

Id also like to mention both saint mudknot and godinabox, both of which play very good assassins.

    LuLz.

Jen you're doing pretty good, but you need to use the words random, nerd, and terribad much more often.

Billy and Bolt to me are the most impressive Oxy kids, Bolts assault shocked me, and Billy lived up to what you randies(for the LuLz) say. This isn't to say the others aren't good, but these two stood out to me for surprising me with non-main classes.

I just went 63-0 on Spunky playing the Hudson tank. The difference is I hit all my rail gun shots. Vids coming soon when I get my setup.

When you say my build, you mean speed/armor/skill right? I think I used that after stretch turned me onto it. Been running that for 95% of my tank games.

Looking forward to the vids. :D

Video or it didn't happen, randy tryhard terribad forum kiddie. (How's that, Deadeye?)

Seriously, video so I can watch and learn. I pretty much learn nothing by playing with/against people because I'm trying hard (lulz) to play the game myself. I like to watch the videos. Complete games don't bother me either, because clips are often way out of context in the back-and-forth of a game...I like to see the inglorious moments of having to retreat or getting oneself into trouble so I can also see how it's handled.

Oh, and people who create videos, include your build in the notes. Very helpful.

As I read over the posts, it's becoming pretty obvious that there are way too many people here that I have not played with...

Also, you're all ruining the community. Especially JackTrips.
