For the record "All Star" happens no matter what. It's basically a continuation of ranking up. You rank up based on lifetime earnings.

    [Edit]
Today I play about 15 matches solo and about 10 with a party and I can tell you one thing, MNC has evolved a lot since it's release. One thing that still stands is that you need to push their bots back while escorting yours. During the solo matches most players didn't kill bots and just player "Death match." During the party we pushed lanes, destroyed defenses and controlled pros while taking out the moneyball. We even had a few matches where there were 4 99's on the opposite team and it made for a great back and forth match. We had the party and the other team was Randoms, but they were experienced players.

STILL? REALLY? You keep assuming things.

READ VERY CAREFULLY: ALL-TIME GREAT > WINNING

That is it. All of those other things that you have "established" are false. Stop being retarded. It is one tag. It isn't interchangeable with any other tag, nor is it a rank.

But if you already have it (which is the initial assumption) then why care if you get it again? You get literally nothing for it. No new tag. No more money. Nothing.

I think its fair to assume that non-new tag gain is fairly equivalent across the board. Where would the line be anyways? Which tags are worth going for over and over (once you already have it) above winning?

Still, this thread is a "polishing the apple" argument to try and argue against the idea that spawn camping is bad. Its interesting, though, because it is showing the true motivations for people playing this game. But its doing nothing to effectively argue for spawncamping not being bad for the game.

And Billy, its a forum for discussion, no reason to get all uppity.

can all the complainers compile a list of things good players are and are not allowed to do in a game? its getting hard to keep track of all the things you guys keep bitching about.

Yo dawg, I heard you like winning, so I put some win in your winning so you can win while you win.

I'm asking because people seem to think it is pointless to go for a protag if you already have it, so I'm wondering what is the incredible intangible is that is encountered when winning a game that sets it apart from getting a difficult pro tag.

What is the point of playing the game, any game?

I am not really sure what you are trying to tell us here, but winning is the first and main objective of the game. Aren't you one of the people that bash other players for being good players, but not being a usefull player to the team (hence not trying to win the game).

It's pointless to win a game even if you haven't.

    Now you're just being silly.

Why don't we just agree to disagree here. There's no easy answer to this and its stupid to argue over who's playstyle is better. The only thing this thread has proved is that people of differing opinions will argue. I'm content to let Uber play god with it and fix it as they see fit if they feel there's a problem.

Play how you want to play... the universe will carry on.

FUN. RECREATION. (Which can be accomplished by winning, and any number of other things.)

The thing is we don't ignore the objective 95% of the time. We just extend the amount of time we take to acomplish it and still end the game quicker than [arbitrary] 90% of solo public matches that ignore the objective completely

This extreme all-time-great example is meant to show how pretty much everyone would put the objective on the back burner if they knew they could get a hard to earn protag and STILL win the game in the next 1:30.

The people that say otherwise argue that its pointless to get a protag that you already have, and I want to know why winning public games, which is a far more common and often less memorable occurrence is given priority other than "thats the point of the whole game."

I bash people that come on here and tell us how good they are, that they stomped other players k/d wise but still lost when looking at the objective of the game. We don't do that. If I get an all time great but lose the game, I'll still admit I lost and got completely outplayed, and likely will go to the game chat and say good game if I'm not playing a bunch of a-holes personality wise.

Considering your example is not spawn camping, who cares? This is just one giant attempt at rationalization. The question is, why do you give a **** what other people think about you on these forums? You have your friends on here already, and you have people who think spawn camping is lame, which is the issue. I don't understand the point of this thread at all.

I might actually take a cue from this thread and make fewer posts here.

I think i'll try to cut back my posts unless it is related to glitches/bugs and strategy, or to make a positive post about what I like about this game.
