Wow this is really awesome to have the exec. commenting on this topic, this community is very close/active or whatever you want to call it, indeed.

    I like this - alot.

Hell, you never hear a word from a Bungie exec. in their forums because their community is HUGE!

    Major Thumbs Up, MNC team!

haha Rev I really don't know if I'm receiving double merch for winning twice (I don't really think I should, should just toss out some free stuff to random peeps instead). I don't even know how many I'm actually getting...

    Rhine,

You're getting double treats and feel free to hand them out or give them out anyway you like. I'll send details and codes out tomorrow. (I've been out of the office Thursday and Friday)

Right now with some of the bugs and Op classes (Support & Assault) i would say save you're money and spend it on some thing else if the supports shotgun gets fixed and the assault gets toned down then yeah buy this game but they wont be getting fixed for a while

Rody since I'm getting more codes you can have one, but I'm not sure about the rest since I don't know how many are coming my way; There's one friend who doesn't have the game, but after that I'm trying to get people who livecast/review games to take a copy (like 4playerpodcast) which takes a few more. If I have any left over that I don't know what to do with I'll hand em out to folks on the forum who don't have it yet :)

Sorry Rev, already promised the physical merch to a friend :(

edit; thanks deadstretch (see that's how you butter me up for a copy :D)

Rowdy Rody. Try out the gunner first. Many people say he is the easiest class to pickup and play. I would familiarize yourself with whichever class you choose in Blitz before going into crossfire. Stay in Blitz until you earn your first custom class. That way you'll have a feel for your class and will know which endorsements will benefit your play style. Good luck.

    Cheers.

Rody I say play some Blitz and learn each class before going into Crossfire. Unless you don't mind a "trial by fire."

And Rhineville please don't give any codes to 4pp. I don't really like , all, of them. Imo, they are kinda a-holes. :D

nah I don't really care though.

Thank you for the tips, I found the guide at the build part of the forum for Beginners, I will read that and fight accordingly, so blitz is offline and crossfire multiplayer?

Blitz is single or multiplayer vs bot AI
This will give you basic knowledge of the different bots and how they work
As well as basic knowledge of game mechanics and the classes

    Crossfire is 6v6 teams

My advice would be to do some reading in the strats section
Unlock your first custom class and familiarize yourself with all of the classes before diving into crossfire.

Alright, I am playing the game and I love it.

I play the 10 Round Blitz mode OFFLINE and beat it, then I went to play SEASON Blitz online and lost 3 out of 3 times - so I reckon it is easier to beat season mode alone and offline then with people and online?

    Btw the game is AWESOME.

I like the gunner and the assassin but I like lead not stars damn it! :)

    and how do I taunt?

Online Blitz players tend to forget that more players means more bots per wave. They also forget to help with building turrets. They use all their money for their skills and that's usually it.

Example of a game I was in yesterday. I was a Tank and there were three other Assassins. Not a single one of them built a turret and as a Tank I can control one line with no help but for some reason the other Assassins insisted on getting in front of me and trying to kill the bots before I could. (Actually if I stand right under the front bridge with a Shave-Ice Turret on the middle nub I can control both lanes by just Death Blossoming.) Mind you that the other lane/s had zero resistance so the ball dropped. Being the team player I am I retreated back to fend them off.

I had my mic in and so I said "is there a reason why you guys aren't building turrets?" They didn't say anything but I can tell they heard me 'cause all three Assassins swarmed me and starting attacking like they telling me to shut up or something. I then said "I know you all have enough money to buy some turrets." In fact I had only upgraded two of my skills to level 2 which only costs $300. I then brought up the skills menu and upgraded all my skills to level 3 and still had $1500 to spare and this was with out touching Bullseye. Needless to say I bought some turrets and out scored everyone by at least $4000.

Moral of the story people can be selfish.
