I'm not offended but I find your post worse than mine in that sense.
The dog thing is because you said that I made a joke about religion AND "people who believe it". That last part was false and unnecessary, that's why I added the dogs :)

    @violeta I don't know what ctfs means :(

If I was a betting man, I'd put money on your writing skills being better than @proinegoproxy :p

I doubt anyone here would write an academic paper in the same way they would write a causal post on a discussion forum...

Now if you're a psychology student you could probably explain the writing style as part of your ongoing investigation into modern internet culture... I could see you getting a good mark :)

A friend of mine (an art graduate) wrote his dissertation on the muppets *and got a top mark* :p So I guess anything is possible...

    It's not about faith,
It's occam's razor, "The easiest or most simplest to derive answer backed by the most factual evidence is usually the most correct"

Fact - Humans are the problem
Simplest Answer - Remove the problem.

As soon as I saw your post I thought if bender :p

Now here's a question for you... Humans, by becoming an intelligent species, understand that certain actions we take cause problems. However, these problems mainly pertain to jeopardizing our own existence, or the existence of things we deem valuable.

Now if humanity died out, what would constitute a problem? With no one to perceive an event, it is merely an event and has no right or wrong.

It's also interesting to think, no matter what we do, we have a pretty minuscule impact on the universe as a whole. We can effect the conditions here in earth to a small degree, but in reality can't change a major celestial event...

Our actions don't just mainly pertain to jeopardizing our own existence though, we have had a devastating effect on nature and many other forms of life on this planet.

I'm sure other creatures on this planet perceive things in a similar way to us,
Example, Animals that live in trees have their homes knocked down by humans, the animals might very well perceive this as a problem but can't do anything about it due to their limited capabilities to communicate with us or stop us directly, if we just died out ,, tada like that , they could perceive that as the problems solved.
Your assuming utopia is a human only ideal. it could be the ideal of creatures of lesser intellect and or capabilities too.

    True

    edit.
    fixed typo's

    Double edit,
i highlighted what i changed in red to show what i assumed you meant.

Speaking of all your cynicism and removing humans as the answer.... Paris.... do you guys think joking about removing humans is still viable????
    It's utterly barbaric! >.<
I hope no one in this community is affected by it!

I still maintain that our understanding of situations creates the concept of a problem in the first place.

I mean remove humanity, a species of animal could force another extinct. Who's to say this is wrong? An asteroid impacts the earth and destroys all life. I think we'd all agree that I's a disaster, yet without us to perceive and understand that, then is it really? The universe has no rules, right onrwrong.

These are concepts we create through understanding. And whilst we have the ability to do things that most would agree are wrong, we also have the ability to preserve things and have a positive impact (although I'd point out that 'positive impact' is subjective and formed on a human point of view of the universe).

Right and wrong or problems are subjective ideas of humans. In my opinion the most wrong thing to happend is the disappearance of humanity.
