that's kinda understandable. Lowes Foods has crappy selection, but Harris Teeter has an amazing selection (for a grocery store)

Haha I can go to the same two stores (ones across town) and they will have a different selection of craft beers. Though then again I don't go to grocery stores to buy alcohol. I go to my local "Discount Beverage" store.

It's good? I'm such a fan of the mint my mom grows in the garden, that I'm having a hard time finding mojitos that compare.

Normally I prefer drinking water. Most of the time.
Sometimes - like today - a nice little glass of Dimple may occur. :)

Had a Manhattan two nights ago. They made it with dry vermouth, six dashes of bitters and shook it.

It tasted like I was drinking bitters with little flakes of ice.

Thought that I would add other post for green tea but be a bit more specific: Zencha's Sencha the Ultimate 2013 from Yame. Though my primary tea tends to be Shi Feng Long Jing Traditional Cultivar. Meijiawu is good too but I could not get it from my tea person this season.

For something harder, my drink of choice would be Kiuchi No Shizuku, the clear verity, but it seems that is not made anymore. There is a verity with some color but thats not available where I live. The Kiuchi beer lineup is though and it has some gems like Hitachino Nest White Ale. Bavarian Hefeweizen, Berliner Weisse, and Belgian strong ales round out the rest of my beer selection. A half dozen verities of Russian and Polish vodkas, Hendrick's Gin, some grappa, and grape brandy round out the liquor options but I think I'm leaving some out.

You're a sencha fan, eh? I've always been a jasmine green tea girl and I love the pearls so I just go with Rishi's. But it gets pricey, so I've got some generic Chinese jasmine green tea to hold me over. I love that you have a tea person ^_^

Not just Sencha (I have only one 25g bag I have been using since March), actually mostly Chinese greens. The past month has been a move towards more Sencha, I just got a nice pot from Japan for it, as my cheap general purpose pot for Japanese green tea was a bit loose in tolerances; and ordered 300g for the rest of the year.

But tonight I'm drinking Shi Feng Long Jing, Pre-Qqingming 2013.
