I had no doubts whatsoever that YOU would recognize it. However, not all forum members are TA veterans...

Enough abbreviations all the time, alright?

    What does "TA" stand for?

    what does RTS mean?

My question is how much attention are you going to give the xbla version if/when you start working on PC, and how much attention will you give both versions after it's over? Will it be like galciv2 where the original still gets some updates even though there are two expansions out, or will it be like demigod where the devs pretty much forget about it and move on? I know it's a loaded question and saying "we won't be supporting it much" would be a pretty bad idea on your part, but please reassure me as i've been burned too many times >.> <3 scathis

I don't think I have ever played TA, so I consider my favorite RTS starcraft...heh...

We intend to support it as long as people want to play it. We have to stay in business though!

That would be another advantage of Steam I think. You can patch the game frequently and without a lot of hoops to jump through. GPG is patching SupCom2 almost on a weekly basis atm. And you can have achievements, VoIP, ladder support, community features... all tried and tested. I hear they are easy to implement too. (That's what CT said at least.)

PC would also allow the possibility for a strong Modder community......something that I think can become very interesting with this game.

The editor is built into the PC version so making maps should be very doable.

I honestly feel like we should have big disclaimers on everything we write because now if there is no editor for some reason it'll be may fault <sigh> ;)

Seriously, remember that everything we say in here is preliminary and is to the best of our knowledge at the time. Things have ways of changing, often quickly. One of the reasons a lot of developers refuse to spend time talking on boards like this is straight up CYA behavior, which we are trying to avoid as much as possible.

That being said it would be pretty hard to not ship with an editor on PC!! Modding is the bomb!
