Compliments to LeadLP, who managed to airstrike someone that I had sent flying with my gunner grapple 3. It was a heck of a shot.

Especially on GIII and no ROF lol.

compliments to skill for actually taunting back to me when i ran up and juice taunted him. was a fun game headcrabbing people and then falcon punching them off the map to have them explode like fireworks. :lol:

Kudos to all the new kids who tried private matches last night, and the regulars who helped them out. There were something like 6 or 7 people who did their first PM.

Sorry that people were having problems connecting and it was a bit laggy - I found the problem and fixed it, so it should be better going forward.

And compliments to Skill for not rage quitting - my host HATED him last night...

Compliments to Chaos, randomtoon and all the other dbag's who choose to let the ball go back up so they could juise chain more in a 6 v 5 "private match". And everyone wonders why new players go back to pubstomping where theres at least a chance of fair teams.

I've noticed this problem here and there when the teams are unlabanced in the pm's I've been in, to the extent of 2,3, even 4 people running thru the base juiced and nobody shooting the ball. This has it's moments here and there maybe for one juice cycle in a fully vet room, example if the win is secured and I see miracle Kckzi Shammas skill etc, I'm popping them once before the ball for laughs. But to relentlessly beat on a team for 5-6 mins in a lesser skilled room is just stupid

Huh? I never let the ball go back up in a PM if I can help it. Ask anyone who normally plays with me - watch Gunked's videos where I am in them if you want proof.

I will assume you mean the matches on Tuesday. There were a lot of new people; a lot of them didn't know to keep the ball down. I gave direction as it was needed, but could only help my team. If your team didn't help you then I can't help that - next time ask me.

Seeing as how I was playing sniper, gunner, and support it was not my job to hit the ball (I tried anyway) - when I was playing assault we were badly spawn trapped.

Also, the 6v5 where I was on 6, I couldn't re-invite the person who dropped; I said as such when I joined their party and explained that I would sit out since we were both in the same slot (gunner) to make the teams fair again.

I was on the receiving end of 6v5 more often than not (three times, that I recall). I sucked it up.
Seeing as how I went negative in all but one game (oddly, where I was on the 5 person team) I am not sure how I was juice chaining and stat padding, especially since the juice machines were off. I usually go negative since I main assassin, and I really didn't play assassin (I did two or three times) so that the newer 'sin players could get a shot. I even appologized for the bad connections (look at the post above yours).

Basically, you have no idea what you are talking about. Next time, ask what is going on and why things happened before you call me out. If you are trolling, you win because imad :mrgreen:

In closing, to each their own. Thank you for trying. I asked several times if people were having fun during the evening. If you were in party on the the 15 or so times I asked, you said nothing about it then.

Yikes, yeah the situation he described does seem kinda lame, but only if it was a room full of veterans who purposely did so.

The way I see it, if there were new players then they probably had a hard time keeping their focus on tapping the ball in such a fast paced match, as well as a miscommunication from the designated tappers.. (assault + assassin)

I always hated players for not going for the ball in matches, and considered myself one of the better objective players, however I let the ball go up in a recent match accidently.. it happens.

It wasn't.
Teams were picked, some of them were kind of lopsided, but for the most part they were OK. The difficulty was with so many new people, it was hard to really pick up the skill level and classes they were good at. I did not pick teams, because host.

By the time our ball went up chaos was close to an uber and i was just sniping at him from the spawn ring. i quit after random toon as sniper juiced just to kill me on my spawn ring. i could understand if you were pushing in bots but they werent even past mid map and i was the only person you killed.

And with a team that consists of chaos, toon, leadlp, bobomb and one of the lumpy donkey's you guys shouldnt need to be reminded to tap the ball.

I dont care if the teams end up stacked for a few games but usually the stacked team dosnt put the best players on slayer classes.(ie chaos going gunner knowing hes against xx mavericks :roll: )

It might not be a snipers job to tap the ball but its not that hard to throw a flak or shoot it from the corner when your team has complete map control and no rival gunner. skills assassin was our best slayer that game and i just wanted to kill chaos so you cant say anyone was stopping you.

I know youre not normally like that toon, you were the just the last person to kill me on the spawn ring and the easiest example.

Yeah, some of the team picks were iffy. I tried not to run the teams past three maps.

I was sniper, Chaos gunner, Lead tank, Bob was either support or assassin, Lumpy was the other support or assassin, and Jersey Girl was on assault. I might have some of those mixed up or wrong, there were a lot of games.

I was actually complaining about no one hitting the ball. I was running for it, and took damage. I popped juice to heal and move faster then the ball went up. You were in my field of view, so I shot you. At least, I think that is the play - this iLuckySlick? I honestly don't remember who was sniper

Your bot players did a good job of keeping us out for a while...
