@Tikki, still I can't handle mixing drinks like that, makes me sick. Than again I mix stuff that should never be mixed together but do it anyways, so I can't talk. Yay stoopid posting! I can't believe it's 2:30 in the morning... I should probably sleep... Eh *shrug* Good thing I work at like 2:00.

@Tank, that's really cool actually! Since like I said, I'm not a big music person. I played things like, sax, violin and piano, very old fashioned instruments. But bass is something I always wanted to try. The notes feel more powerful and it's more background than a guitar so I always thought it'd be fun. But then all my band friends said "Oh no! Bass is too hard and the instrument is huge, you couldn't handle it." Laaaame.

@Oby, I worked blood drives a lot. Very fun but I also discovered after giving blood, I can't due all blood loss and working at the same time. My blood pressure is so low blood doesn't actually pump or get created fast enough for me to recover from blood letting like that. My pressure is like 105/75 average. 120/80 is normal.

it's 5:50pm in the arvo for me, 6:50 in every other state since daylight savings but ah well

The bass is pretty heavy but as far as size its just a slightly longer guitar. It shouldn't be too hard to pick it up especially if you learned to read bass clef from your tenure with the piano.
Most people who say the bass is hard try to learn with their hand first and that makes it really difficult. If its something that really interests you I'd say go for it and I'd be willing to answer an questions you might have to the best extent of my knowledge

I've decided that I'm finally ordering the Walking Dead compendium today - 1,000 pages! Also picking up Blur on Xbox for 14 new. Pity that Activision shut down the developers.
