I've been told I sounded Asian before the person even saw me once. But when I was little I didn't speak English perfectly so I probably had an accent then xD I still have issues with speaking but that's a (my real name)ism.

Ah my number one trait is German. I love German accents and the language. I love angry languages xD But gawd I would never turn down an Irishman, but you have a point, it'd be hard to choose between Aussie and Irish... GAWD THIS DECISION IS TOO HARD! I TAKE BOTH. /whoreness xDDD

I swear, you are only the second person I ever heard use firecrotch the other was a New Yorker xD

And you can't use Hugh Jackman as a trump card >.> Cheater.

    And what musical instrument Tank?

She's like half your size, Jack. I'm sure standing up you'd be able to get more than a kiss. xD

    Heart you Jane >.>

Depends on what I feel like playing could be electric bass could be drums could be (my favorite) Double Upright bass. I guess it depends on what music I'm in the mood for

OMIGAWD OBY XD I just loled so freaking hard xD How tall is Jack?

I heart you too Oby. That was still dirty >:p

And that's cool Tank! I only played a couple instruments in the past but nothing rough and fun like drums or something. Always wanted to learn bass over guitar though. Heard it was harder though :( And I already suck at music.

I keep being told its harder but, personally, I think its easier less to learn. The majority of it is singular notes instead of harmonic chords. It takes patience like everything. I guess the reason why people would say that would depend on the type of bass playing they try to learn, for example if you learn to use a pick its almost exactly like guitar just less chords to learn. On the other hand should you learn to pluck or slap it'll take almost the double the amount of time with about half going into the technique alone.

Dedicated bassists are rare, but necessary so if you really want to I'd say go for it once you get the hang of it it almost feels like second nature

Not sure. According to my mental tabs (which for some reason I have the ability to retain even though NO ONE'S personal information is useful to me in any manner whatsoever) the five tallest forumgoers are:

Racin'Na5on (or however you spell it) 7'4", Billy 6'7", Futtbuck 6'5", Psycho 6'4", Rev 6'2".

But I dunno how tall Jack is. I'm gonna guess 6' even. But I'm probably dead wrong. xD

@Tank, so it's easier to use a pick than your barehand? And I can hear and pinpoint the sounds of bass over guitar and how notes are more singular in feel but I never really know how to define a note just by hearing.

@Jack and everyone, ignore what Oby is putting into your brains Dx Also that video was cool xD

@Oby, I keep mental tabs on people too xD I have a bad memory but when it comes to people I remember things pretty well.

Yes, ignore the useless forumgoer funfacts! lol.

Next thing you know I'll be spouting blood types and weights. xD
Though, I must say, since I have the second rarest bloodtype, vampires would find me quite the treat.

For which I'm game as long as they don't sparkle in the sunlight.

It depends when starting out yes its incredibly easier because with a pick all you have to think about is striking the note with said pick. With your hand it breaks down into velocity style and accuracy. Picking is usually frowned upon by seasoned bassists for that exact reason but don't let the stop you from learning that first. A lot of those same people learned that way i know i did.

Bloodtype is a big thing in Asia so is horoscope and I used to be all over that stuff. I'm common, A+. Are you like, AB- or something? I bet you 'd be verrrry tasty then xD I'll remember you for whenever I turn ;D And not into the sparkly kind either >.>

@Tank, you must be really into music dang. But that actually sounds like solid advice. I gather that the pick is a crutch and for proffesionalism it is more proper to go by hand instead? Are you in a band or something now that I think of it? Everyone seems to be in bands these days.

@Tikki, ewwwww mixing beer and vodka. I'm already not with it so I'm sure I made dumb posts. Join me in stoopid posting!

I am not. I'm simply a freelance musician.
I've studied music for years and its my absolute favorite past time. I've done some studio and live work with local bands around my area but no one major until i make a name for myself.

As far as picking goes its not really a crutch its just simple the downside being its not as versatile as your hand can be. I mean you can play fast or slow with a pick but thats about it you can't really alter the sound of the note with a pick unless your bending the strings where as with your hand different techniques (slapping, plucking, tapping) make the same note sound completely different

    I'm O Negative. Wootwoot!

I can donate to anyone, but can't recieve from anyone but O negatives. Doesn't that suck?

But I guess it doesn't matter because I'm to light (Read: Skinny) to donate blood anyway. I've never given blood because I can't. D:
