To those wanting to join Team Oxyteam:

Oxyteam was started as a joke between about 8 players who met on the forums. Jen and Jack were people we played with on and off for a long while, but was difficult to play with them consistently due to the size of oxyteam and them being in separate parties with separate friends. We are also very reluctant to "steal" people away from their established groups because of the drama it can cause, and the fact that we WANT other groups to be active in this community. This is why it took us FOREVER to invite Jack to join.

As for completely/relatively new people joining the group, Syd is pretty much the only example of that. She posts very often on the forums, NEVER gets angry, is hilarious in party chat, is a great sport, understands how to play her class very well, has artistic abilitiy and most importantly: she gels with our group dynamic to an exceptional degree. We don't have any recruiting guidelines, but if I were to draw them up, I would use her as a template.

We don't actively recruit people.

SO Jack does this mean you aren't going to join our parties anymore? Does this mean if you are in a party with us and Im Hudson comes online are you going to mysteriously leave the party then for another mysterious reason you are offline? That's what happen to Syd when "she joined OxyTeam."
