Alright, I'm going to move forward with plans for this weekend's scrims, I'm currently thinking something along these lines :

Vs DHIF : around 5PM EST Saturday night
Vs JFA : sometime Sunday night(probably around 5 or a bit later)
Vs The Team Formerly Known as TEG ft. Skill and Moneyshot : Sometime on Saturday after DHIF.

Let me know if these times work for you all. Should be a good weekend.

I assumed you could play sniper snack because on the 2nd page of this thread you posted a lineup you recommended with you on sniper. Guess that's changed which is fine.

To clear up the confusion, I can play any night except for Friday. That's when I have to work.

No confusion. I'm trying to set something up for Saturday night around 5 with either DHIF(minus Wildman) and/or Forehead and Shoulders since Jon said he's available any time that night.

Good games vs DHIF tonight, guys. If we had made it a point to control the area near the anni and gotten one or two I think it would've made the difference. I think if we work on communication, we will be able to improve our team play and become competitive quickly. Thank you all for showing up and let me know what you'd like to change in the future. If the other team reads this and has any comments/criticisms, feel free to post them.

DHIF + subs  (5 at one point :? ). Yeah they were good matches, murky's icetraps were suprisingly annoying for me and choiio headcrabbed me a few times :( .

You guys did better than I expected, especially in the second match (that I was in, Steel Peel?)

It's hard when you go up against a tough team to execute the things you want to. I felt a lot of your team's individual focus was good. Players were positioning themselves pretty well but there wasn't enough aggression in capitalizing when you out-slayed us.

Chollo was flying all over the place distracting us and took up more of my focus then I should have allowed, and that helped Murky place those deadly ice traps. It's tough to judge the assassin/tank as an assault, but Crimson and Goldie did okay for the circumstances. No offense to anyone but going up against miracle's gunner isn't fun. After a couple of lost battles you question where to go or how to approach him next. Goldie, you need to try and keep yourself alive more. Put yourself in positions with teammates where you have the ability to run and hide behind them. It's important for the support to build juice because you have the chance to build from healing alone. Crimsonskull was up against A LOT of fire. It's tough, especially since I suck at gunner and gunner decisions. What I can suggest is being more vocal as a team. Find out if chollo can bomb our support away, or kill it flat out. Maybe that bomb put our gunner in a position that murky can help snipe as you push up to gun him down.

When a player is down, try to capitalize on it. Support requires huge capitalization.. with no back bone you should try to play aggressive and finish off players. When the tank is down the bot pushers should try to get some breathing room out of their base. When the gunner is down that also requires huge capitalization, but also with some cautions. The support could be healing a tank or an assault.

snack was their tank, unless i missed something after i left. the one match i played vs them murky was a bit too passive, and chollo kind of looked lost and just aimlessly jumping around near their bridges and their side of top middle for example(basically trying to remain safe). i spoke to both of them and they both said the same thing about it being due to their circumstances of being outslayed. when your team is neutral or pushed in a difficult situation, that is when you need to be aggressive and make a play more than any other time. as a sniper you need to take a chance and stick your neck out to throw a good 2-3 ice traps right in the crossfire to save your team, you might/probably will die but u need to do it and not submit to the beating u are taking. the assault needs to flank from the sides over and over until he successfully kills the support to remove the gunner or the sniper so your team isnt getting frozen over and over. in most neutrally tough or against my favor long matches i rack up alot of deaths on just about every class. there is no shame in dying if you were trying to make the best play for you team, and especially if your death pays off to give your team some breathing room.

knave and snack did well with the bots, and snacks railgun has improved. keep it up

He made me go off their spawn ring and chase him to the anni on Lazer Razer :? I got him but their team managed to get out of their spawn.

Murky did as well as any other top sniper from what I could tell. If I made the wrong decision he was there to spam a few bullets into me and make me super weak.

Crimsonskull needs to be a lot more aggresive. I think almost every gunfight I was against him I was in their half of the map and chasing him. He does have a pretty good shot though (more so than most other Gunners), just needs to play smarter.

Can't really say anything about the others because I didn't really see them much. Hopefully we can do this next week as well as this was one of the first proper matches in a while and they were good fun :)

How is taking a death to throw ice traps a good idea if the ice traps just go away when you die?

This. I think I die the most on my team but manage to get the most kills as well (unless Jeff is the opposing Gunner  ). Even if you don't kill anyone, just distracting them for a good 10 seconds is enough for your assault and sniper to set up shop with bombs and ice traps. If you're lucky Chron will be the assault and will help you spawn-trap them whilst on their spawn ring.
