Tank is the most overpowered class

    Noticed I said GOOD tank

    1. What? railgun never misses against such a big target+ you can jet pack around and still hit him with every shot
    2. This is the only good counter I guess, But if that tank is REALLY good he can hit every shot and destroy that assault.

    5. lol I can hit a sniper lik 4 times and hes already dead with the rail gun. If hes close to me he dies from like 1 charge

    Speak to Syd. She'll let you know what she thinks of Tank's speed. "SOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOOOOW"

    Not as fast as an Assassin, who can Smoke Bomb a turret

    Most classes can take 50-75% off a Moneyball's health when juiced, if used correctly

    And? Assassin takes care of bots just as fast, Sniper headshots take care of bots, too

    Anyone can taunt in front of a Lazer Blazer and get juice. Plus it's getting nerfed.

    Because he's SOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOW and is awkward at mid-range

    = up to 2 less deaths per game. No biggie.

    Only with a decent ROF loadout and if you're picking on someone weak/a noob with no Armour. Any experienced enemy won't just stand there and take it

    Only Charge 3 stuns. Don't see how it's usually a ring-out. Also, if you let a Tank get that close to you, you'd probably have died from a jet gun anyway

    Gotta love stupid Gunners and Product Grenade 3

    Getting nerfed. Not instant. Don't be a douche.

    Not against anyone with Armour. Of course, you're juiced.

    1. DPS of the Railgun isn't even close to the DPS of the Minigun at midrange. Railgun loses even if you hit the Gunner every time.
    2. Assault wins at midrange. Glad you recognize that.
    3. Support shotgun loses at midrange, BUT the Support Shotgun will kill the Tank at close range faster than the jetgun will kill the support. So it has its uses.
    4. Hacked level 3 firebase will kill a Tank before he can kill the firebase. Easily.
    5. A good Sniper will headshot you. Meaning you die in a maximum of two hits. No matter how good of a Tank you are, you are not 100% at hitting the skinny Sniper with your railgun. Sniper wins.
    6. Good Tanks don't get caught in ice traps. I agree with this. Every once in a while it will happen, but it shouldn't be the norm.

    Most of that stuff if not true, and wtf at shotgun and Uzi being mid-range encounters.
    Even if the Tank player isn't that good and he comes across something like this, he can instantly charge away and turn it into a long range battle, but if the Tank is good he can win almost all mid-range encounters and even more close and long range encounters.

    I played against Shammas and his railgun build as a Sniper on Grenade III. It was basically a stalemate. Everytime one of us would get too hurt, we would take cover. This cycle repeated at least five times. Tank isn't overpowered.

    You have no idea how many Tanks I've pwned at mid-range with a decent SMG endorsement setup

    Love when people do this. And I probably asked for it when I told you to get better. So whatevs.

    But I guarantee I am older than you.

    And yes, Tanks can do everything well. But they have their weaknesses. Learn them and then exploit them.

    1. What, I have gold ROF and you also dont hit any shot. How close do you think think mid range is?

    5. So obviouslt the good sniper can hit every shot but the tank can't owait

    Their only weakness is they don't beat assauts at mid range unless they hit every shot. One weakness sounds kind of overpowered.

    With 100% rail accuracy and product grenade accuracy a tanks rail gun can be formidable at mid range. It is still far from ideal compared to either the mini gun or AR+bomb combo. It beats the weapons that have damage drop offs at long range. At closer ranges, the crit prone spray weapons will out dps you in most fights.

    If you rail someone at long range to half health before they get to mid range? Advantage tank.

    If they get to mid range at 100% health? Advantage mid range class (exception: clutch Passives)

    Good snipers beat good tanks at long range due to headshot capability vs 5 rail hits on the smallest target in the game.

    His railgun could use a damage nerf against bots and or clip size reduction though. I don't like that the tank can clear bots from close and long range as well as he can. Death blossom is fine for that, but the rail gun does give him a bit too much pve and pvp map control with a huge health pool to survive lots of area denial. I'm fine with long range pro control, but he should not be able to stall games by railing bots from his spawn and surviving the area deinal due to his large health pool and regen tactics. This is all my opinion of course.

    Seriously, and you dont have to take a mid range battle you have a charge and the most health, and a long range weapon to weaken chasers.

    Ways to deal with the Tank:

    Assault - You have a dash as well. Use it. Also lay down a bomb to keep the Tank from closing.
    Gunner - Slam knocks them out of close range. Your gun auto slows people down preventing the Tank from changing mid range to long range.
    Sniper - Be aware. Seriously. You shouldn't be on the front lines anyways, if a Tank closes, back up. Keep em at long range. Put ice traps in odd places to catch em off guard.
    Support - Stay close to your Firebase or another Heavy. If you heal either, it will kill them. If he goes after the Firebase/Heavy, shotgun him. If he goes for you, let the Firebase/Heavy kill him.
    Assassin - Yeah, just stay away from Tanks. Period. Only match-up that I think needs a change. Assassins need some reliable way of dealing with Tanks.

    Tank kills sniper in 5 if he's running gold armor like any half decent sniper. Tank dies in one headshot until after mid game (passive 3, and assuming he is wearing armor). After that, it's one headshot + 1 to 2 body shots.

    Assuming equal skill, and optimal loadouts for higher lvl players, Sniper has the advantage by far at long range.

    all of your posts are based off of "if he hits with every shot" and "a very good tank" and etc. i believe a deployed gunner will take +8 railgun shots before dying. have fun reloading while you get gunned down. and have fun charging away while said gunner slows you down.
    AAAAAANNNNNNDDD have fun landing EVERY SINGLE SHOT on a clawing gunner.
