T1 to T2 Metal Extractor without reclaiming?

well of course, but i mean if you can only send your commander, that means you essentially have to start tech all over again to get the t2 mex. I suppose it wouldnt matter much if you had plenty of resources on another planet

I think in the original trailer, the commander was sent to make the moon base, but the asteroid was built on by 2 fabbers, if I remember correct. I'm guessing that you will be able to send small numbers of units between planets.
