T1 bombers

the game is over 10 years old. why do people even compair it to supcom. anyway this balance stuff is not for me... im gona stop now! Better understand that some games actually do things sufficiently right for them to be played 7 years hereafter with a still slowly growing popularity now rather than later! I'd wager that's the type of game you'd rather be playing

Defenseless fabbers being the key part of that statement.

Fabricators are supposed to be defenseless and vulnerable. You need other units to protect them or you run the risk of them getting destroyed.

Losing 6 t1 fabs or a T2 fab is never cool, but it should never, ever, be a game deciding move.

Units are replaceable and expendable, we shouldn't have such critical units, especially when that's the commanders purpose.

By all means, raid, I don't want to discourage that, but I do want to avoid situations where losing your first few engineers is full on crippling.

I build stingers, 1 stinger to 2 fabbers or 3 fabbers to 2 stingers, and I don't watch over them very carefully nor incur losses. God bless them too, I hate building fighters because if they have bombers ofc they have fighters too. Stingers are a one way counter.

I just wanna rage out to uber atm for beeing soo blind and not acaully fixing anything and it seems like they are just fokeing around like overgrown children not knowing anything about they`r own game! make`s me sad and very possibly to make a staitment of a doomsday of this game... in the end, noone will be playing this game. giveing u that **** u feeeling! killing 6 fabbers sure dude that`s okay. its only 1 bomber. it`s the littel things that matter not the huge thing.. ho said gamma something something? gamma what? and why shoulde i care about what thay say? gamma for how long now? much fix?

I'm sorry but this has to be by far one of the dumbest threads I've ever seen, and I'd honestly be shocked if you arne't trolling.

That said, I'm bored so I'll humor you: Right now, you're complaining that if you build nothing but eco units, attack units will kill your eco units. Wat? Bombers are AOE, if you stick everything in one spot of course they'll kill your stuff. You're literally giving them the exact perfect setup for what they're supposed to do! It's like if I sit back and let you build eco for 20 minutes with your super l33t pr0 eco build, and then bitch that you have more money and units than me! Sorry, that comparison might not have been direct enough for you, so here's one using LoL:

It's like if you're playing playing 5 people bot then bitching that the other team has more money than you. Of course they do, you decided to, in the rules of the game, do something absolutely bonehead retarded. You're proposed solution is to make it so you earn even money whether you're all in one lane or not, thereby changing the meta and enforcing your terrible misconception of what the game is meant to be (LoL is not supposed to be 5 bot tower push) on everyone else.


PA is a game about building your eco and harassing your opponent, if harass is too much for you, go play against an AI on 0 difficulty (they won't move an attack you at all, you can do your eco-only strat then roll their comm with hundreds of units), or better yet go play something like Sim City.

EDIT: I'll also repeat what others have said and mention that bomber harass is super easy to shut down if you just build the bare minimum of units. 3 stinger bots are enough to make an entire air factory useless, by your logic that's super imba.

I can acaully counter say that just by saying i was in GM in sc2, and when u guys play this game long enught u will acully do the same thing. just facts nothing else! And i dont care about ur Useless diamond skill in sc2, i feel like this is a real proble to this game.. like many others, and i dont feel like antyhing is fixed! !!!! YES!!!!

I can even go so far as to say do the marine split challenge map in SC2 custom games. Than you can split your fabbers when you see the bomber coming Than you can build a missle turret to minimalize your losses

Ya this game isn't suppose to be about micro but early game it can be, when you don't have alot to do other than dox dodge micro ;p Not that it makes much difference unless you gotta split 6 fabbers up really fast LAWLs

Well, you shouldn't let your fabbers group in the first place, and then it's easier to react to bumblebee harass. Like if you want to use 6 fabbers to assist a factory, seperate them first, so you don't have to pay attention for the bombers all the time.

I beat Sin and jok3r more than once, I also beat Andyroo once, who else...
