    Question about the summer costumes.

    How do we unlock them? I have bought buttloads of stuff off Steam and was under the impression it was linked to that somehow.

    Anyone got some info on this?

    You need to "earn" three "tickets" then redeem the Summer Gear. All the info is on the Steam Summer prize booth page. Each day has different tasks which will earn you tickets.

    Everyone is in on the summer faggotry sadly.

    Though i happen to own almost all the games for today.. And i'm already out of things to "redeem" in the sense that i got the MNC gear and the characters for Killing Floor with about 10 minutes of gametime... so... meeeeh.

    I can do it, its just plain stupid is all. Its a cheap way to get people to advertise their games and/or getting people to sign up to Facebook junk.

    Its Bioware all over again if anyone went through the Dragon Age 2 crap for "bonus" items.
    I guess I just still have a bad taste in my mouth.

    A few of these are pretty easy to do and won't be hard to unlock. The only one worth getting is the pimpin' Assault gear, the rest ill probably never use.

    Back onto my hamster wheel I guess, gotta keep the Uber/Steam machine running.

    Yea every other Steam game I get pretty fast speeds, MNC is 50KB/s for some reason. Not sure why. Every patch that comes out takes me a day to d/l or so.

    Try to use another Steam server, you can choose them in: Settings -> Steam + Cloud or something like that. Not all the servers have all the games and some servers are simply at the limit with the sales atm.

    I don't see why you are complaining... it takes less than two minutes to get the tickets required for the MNC gear. Recommend a game, link to fbook, upload a ss. I'm just happy I got them without having to buy crappy games. *cough* potato sack *cough*
