I've been able to do this ok as a Gunner, Sniper, and Assassin. Sniper gets me far less results, but I've done it. I think it primarily depends on the skill of the other team + what classes they're playing + your skill in whatever class you're doing. Everyone already went over what the Assassin can do. Although the Gunner excels in player removal, he can also do just fine on bots. Mortars on bots can give impressive juice. The mortar grapple will instantly kill Black Jacks and dang near fully destroy a Bouncer. Level 3 grapple quickly dispatches of whatever.

I lead a team as assassin today. I was the only one who went positive on my team, and we ended up winning the game. I juiced 10 times with all of the money and bot-killing I did. Afterwards I got a rage message saying, "Burn in hell you f****** a**hole."

Then, I quit that game and joined another game 10 minutes in. I got my miniguns in thirty seconds because I rung out an assassin, taunted, and then shot bullseye. Then, I got on "that ledge" on spunky and minigunned their moneyball for 1 minute straight, getting kills as I went.

Good stuff to know. I'll have to try that out next time when I get the chance.

The best way to carry a team would be to snipe! :D Kill bots = win!

Sniper is not a very good class to lead with. Sniper is way too easily ambushed and killed. I used to main sniper, I know.

All day. Seriously just focus on the bots for the first couple of minutes. I've gotten hate mail from people knocking me for running away so much. You can normally clean there first 2 waves of bots and have juice by then. Then kill turrets. (NOT PEOPLE). Then go back to killing bots and only kill high priority targets.

Although sometimes i feel like its a little easier to use assaults to carry on bigger maps like Lazerrazor or G3. The assassin just has to much trouble trying to take down both bot lanes in the beginning and the best you can do is just push one side hard and make it a race to the moneyball. Either way it'll end sooner and hopefully the teams will balance out a bit.

    My conditions of winning.

    1. Win the game with perfect K/D
    2. Lose the game with perfect K/D

    If I win, I win.
If I lose, I still win.

    It's a win/win.

    Amen.

Camping as a sniper can actually be really amazing for bot-pushing and pro killing. The only thing that sucks is taking out turrets, so hopefully you can destroy them before there is a base of 3x3s. I main sniper, I know.

Reminds me of 2 matches I played last weekend. There were a bunch of snipers on the other team on Steel Peel and they had ice traps literally ****ing everywhere, as well as a Support hugging his turrets... I finished 5-10 or something but I was trying my *** off the entire game and I manage to get their ball down TWICE no thanks to my team (I have no idea how it went up the first time because I was shurikening it like a mofo). I could tell how frustrated those snipers were because they couldn't kill me, but I was also getting frustrated because I couldn't kill them. Next match, I go Assault and make them rage quit.
    Anyway.
Winning with great K/D, especially against good/decent people = good
Winning with bad stats = good but annoying
Losing with great K/D = acceptable, it's probably my terrible team's fault anyway (pubs)
Losing with bad K/D = **** my team.

The game was designed so that one good player cannot outplay 6 decent players. But I find the best class to ensure a win with is assassin, you just have to take their turrets out as fast as you can (IE buy cloak and dash 2 at start, cloak dash to their base smoke bomb each turret and kill them, then lead bots in).

But I'll list why each class can't win:

    Assassin:
Pros: Can kill bots and turrets extremely effectively
Cons: Very bad a pro killing, once map control is lost, your team has lost

    Assault:
Pros: Amazing at map control and keeping enemies down, kills moneyball extremely fast.
Cons: Bad bot killer and turret killer. If you can't get their turrets down or even push bots in, you have to pray the game goes into overtime or else you loose

    Sniper:
Pros: Extremely high skill ceiling, good bot killer, insane juice gain
Cons: Weak against turrets, weak against moneyball, easy to overwhelm

    Support:
Pros: Good at making teammates more effective and locking down an area of the map
Cons: You depend on your teammates and turtling won't win games, bad at pro killing, bad at bot killing if you can't get a fb up, very low mobility

    Gunner:
Pros: Insane pro killing and map control ability, great turret killer
Cons: Health recharge is ridiculously slow, bad at killing bots and horrendous against the money ball. Once you get the money ball down, you can't kill it very fast at all

    Tank:
Pros: Good at keeping bot lanes cleared under pressure, extremely high skill ceiling, insanely powerful juice, good at killer pros as long as you're good
Cons: Relatively weak against money ball and turrets, slowest character in the game

But if you combine all of these, you're not weak in any area and strong where it counts. If you're on a team of two generally assault and assassin are the two classes to choose if you want to win.
