If the graphical fidelity is even close to what it is to the trailer you'd need a ridiculous setup to run more than 40 players.
They downgraded watchdogs because it ran **** for everyone. The trailer actually was legit. Truthfully they should have just left it.
Yes. My thinking is if it was rendered in real-time they would've said so. Still an impressive engine.
Remember when Valve forced games they own to only be released on and only playable through Steam? Stop hating on Origin. It's dumb. I don't even care that the rest of your post is sensible. Publishers have the right to distribute their content as they desire. The consumer has the right not to buy said product for any reason (nomatter how dumb).
Just going to point out that Origin doesn't have a gifting system. So if a friend wants to gift you a game he basically has to log into your account and use his/her payment info. It doesn't even have a screenshot key. I've been using Origin more now ever since I bought "Applefield 4 of Duty" and while I don't really have any MAJOR issues with it, it just seems like "Steam but refunds instead of gifts". Personally I prefer the Steam UI too but whatever.
I use Steam, Origin, GoG and once upon a time I used Impulse. Got anything interesting to say? @squishy: I was simply pointing out that it's not a point against Origin. Not when everyone else does the same thing. You don't compete in an economic market by making nice. You compete by doing everything the other guy is doing, as best as you can. @Geers: I wasn't aware you couldn't take screenshots! That said I've only really used it for Bejeweled (casual scum that I am) and Mass Effect 3. I swear there was a way to screenshot in that game . . been a while though! That said, in a load of games that Steam Overlay refuses to work in, PrtScr + Paint has served me well! I feel like I'm going to have to use that workaround with the new Battlefront, because everyone needs pictures of Jedi cutting holes in droids.
@Gorbles Just wanted to say the origin servers are fixed by now and I can successfully download battlefield 3!
According to the Internet, Windows allows you to make a screenshot and save it to a file using <WinKey>+<PrtSc>, which should appear in "Pictures\Screenshots". (source) Seems easier than the copy-pasting stuff to me.
